ok i got the hot toys body opened and chest ready to go on. but how does the hook,elastic string combo all go to attach the head?

and how do the shoes go on? just take off the ankle joints? help! lol

If it works like the previous ones, you have to pull out the connector from the foot and that then glues straight into the shoe.

You have to attach the elastic to the hook in the head and pull that down and loop round the middle of the chest piece before you put it together.

There are instructions in the GBU and Fighter v1 threads.

Here is the instruction to connect between the head sculpt and chest part for people who purchased the head + clothing set.

There are no. 1, 2 and 3 in the 12th picture.
It means fastening bolts order from 1 through 3.

for the shoes, you need to take break off those pegs from the truetype feet and glue em on those shoes in order for these to fit.

Thats why most of rainman fig is a bit taller in general compared to the average HT figs.

here he is. i have sunohc shades on him because my rainman oakleys snapped so i need to repair it .

i placed the shirt on rather than put it over his head. so it would hang lower.

Got mine yesterday. Finally put it together today. Great figure one of my favorites. Took some quick pictures.

I think from all the tylers here, the v2 really takes the crown, with the v1 running the 2nd place.

got my limited set today! just a warning to the brothers who got it too... be very careful when taking out the limited oakley shades... its very thin and fragile and is inserted in the thick form without much protection... if you get impatient you may snap it.. luckily I took it out safeky!.... one major diaspointment is that rainman made the orange net shirt sleeveless...if i remember correctly Tyler was seen wearing that shirt with long sleeves when he had spikey hair in the earlier scenes....

Marfmaster yes i got Faststreets indy.. got a bit to add to him but a fantastic start.

As for Tyler I was being rather generous with the stretching and pulling to get it on his head. I have to be super careful now about hearing about the breaks. LOOOOVE this figure. I do wish the black sugar shirt was a bit better to be honest but all in all this is one of Rainman's best. I was happier with Ed because i thought it was up a bit in accuracy.

To be honest Im also not sure about the color of his pants and coat. But I'm not judging I'm just asking to be honest. While the coat is out of this world it looked more brown than black and white in the movie I thought. Also i could be mistaken but i thought the orange pants were in fact the red sweatpants he wore in other scenes... like the bus scene with the motocrtoss shirt for example.

yeah I agree with the black sugar shirt... the collar on that thing is way too thick.

My real issue of the black sugar is the inaccuracy of the pattern but althewhile i'm happy it's at least a little closer than the V1 pattern was.
