Rainman finished to paint the head sculpt for the prototype... :horror
The last picture is just for effect to look the battle damaged head.
I don't know he would paint the damaged head version yet.

Thanks,

Looks good! I think the pink of the lower lids is a tiny bit heavy and the hair could use a few highlights. And I love the battle damaged head. :D

Please be 16th....please be 16th....please be 16th....

16th isn't so good for me.

Please be 15th....please be 15th....please be 15th.... :)

You mean for the pre ordering to start on the 16th?

Regardless, it'd be the same for me, as I'm pretty free, schedule wise this month. So if it helps; please be 16th...please be 16th...please be 16th... :lol

Good luck mate :)

Yeh, I am at a Christmas party on the 15th. Would hate to HAVE to be late. :D

And thanks man, appreciated. :)

I agree EC, some highlights would actually help.

Don't you have a phone that could browse and surf? I mean that's what I would do.

Excuse myself to the bathroom, login to e-ureka and wait for the PO button :lol

I'm gonna go to the office, or wherever there's strong and fast wi-fi connection and wait with my laptop for this. I'll pick a fight with the missus if I have to, just to anticipate and concentrate for that PO button to appear.

:lol

I have a basic Nokia that just does what mobile phones normally should: text, make and receive calls. :)

Just have to be late I guess.

Which leads me onto my next question: to those who have purchased before, (EC I'm looking at you), how do you actually secure one? Do you have to go all the way through and fully pay before it is yours or...?

Zuno wisely added a countdown clock right next to the pre-order button after the first couple of figures, so no need for constant refreshing the page or anticipating the link to go active or such. The 'click to pre-order>' text goes active and automatically turns blue when the clock hits '0'. :duff You have 3 days to pay.

I read that, after successfully PO'd one, you have 3 days to make the full payment via paypal.

If you don't pay up in 3 days time, I guess they'll put it up for pre order again.

Sure you get a little excited as with any preorder, but it's a really smooth system and zuno's addition of the countdown clock made it even easier.

Hydeous: Zuno added a countdown clock to the preorder pages after first couple of Gunmen that were offered earlier this year. It's right next to where the preorder button will be so it makes it really easy. No need to refresh constantly and bottle neck the server.

What do you mean by first couple of figures?

After a few are sold, there will be a countdown clock next to it?

Think EC means after the first few Rainman figures were sold, zuno added a countdown clock for future sales.

EDIT: he has answered you.

So just the one click p.o. button to get one?

Snake and I truly appreciate you taking the time to answer our noob questions, EC!

Please bear with us, as its our first (and my most wanted fig of all time) PO with zuno and I won't take anything lesser than the limited set :D

Man, I'm so excited that before I sleep, and the first thing I do when I wake up is to check this thread :rock

It's almost exactly like Sideshow's pre-orders if you are familiar with them. And they seem to have gone smoothly for all those that ordered before.
