I'm just saying that the norms nowadays for characters that have more than 1 costume, comp like HT or EB would normally include 2 swappable costume. E.g. Marcus, bruce etc

So if he include a few, that'd be sweet. If not, I'm ok with it too :duff

Oh, not those knock off ones, that'd suck, I'm talkin bout the authentic oliver peoples OP 523 :rock far fetched, I know :lol

But Rainman didn't make Bruce did he? ;)

And no 1:1 knock off sunglasses please. Those are available everywhere.

the norm for what? remember rainman just one man not a mass production company.

lol we all want more but i really doubt it..

plus imho I think most of hot toy's double costume releases are excessive and done only so collectors can spend more. I mean do really need two versions of every character we buy?.. again just my opinion

Yeah, I agree. I just swap them every now and then, to get that 'new' feeling!

But Tyler has been in my list since, Ive begin collecting. Or since I first saw that movie! Thus, I wont mind shelling out a bit more, or get another spare extras if he does have additional costumes :peace

yeah i guess he's an exception. i think i might pick up a unpainted head or too to try to mod it into a se7en or bald durden sculpt

anyone else wanna get this:

I think its pretty easy to do a se7en, with the right mod and costume, he'd look the part.

I wouldnt try to make the bald durden, think I'll just wait for rainman's version of it. Since I have a feeling he'd do those as well, along with norton.

I've always found that quite a cool figure.
How much do they run nowadays ?.

dont really care bout the figure, i just need those coat. they cost $50bucks for the whole set, but shipping can be steep.

I'd be picking those up if rainman's not planning to make the shaven, final battle tyler.

So just out of curiosity. What's with the head attached to the body by a string? If the string were to ever break inside the body would there be no way for the head to be attached without tearing open the body?

The string is curious and I'd like to know why he went that way rather than the standard neck peg. :huh

another korean artist made that one. and unless he's changed his mind zuno said before he wont touch anything another korean artist produced

Yeah the string had me wondering too. If thats the only means of the head connecting surely that means that the clothing set ( if there is one , fingers crossed ) will come with a chest too correct ?

but that doesnt count as a masterpiece, that's just like some random custom project, IMO:monkey3

:lol

I remembered seeing long time ago, anyone got the pics? PM me, as I dont think posting it here is appropriate

I think thats for connecting it with the lower abs/stomach piece.

Even though the string runs through the neck and apparently attaches to the head? :huh
Since the torso is now painted, I would assume the dev stage is past. It's interesting that the neck has no neck peg or discernible connector.

Judging by the pic, I'm not sure how it has anything to do with the stomach piece.

Perhaps the string to make the head connection easier so people won't have to cram the head down onto a neck peg possibly damaging the head in the process?

edit:

ok I just went back and see those pics again, you guys are right. the string does go through the neck. And its in no way affiliated with the stomach piece.

But my main concern is, whats gonna happen to those that just buy it for the heads or heads/costume then, if they cant get their hands on those neck-string bodies that are limited to 10 piece?

rare, limited string. LOL

I'm sure Rainman has thought this all through.

And I'm fairly confident the head/clothing sets will come with the custom torso and the limited edition string. ;)

The painted and unpainted heads by themselves may come without or they may include the torso and string as well.
