I too am bummed the glasses won't be coming with him.
I agree that if he can find a way to make them he should, or just send them separately when they are done.
A second version would have to be the shaven head, fur coat version, right?

Which would be weird, since he didn't exactly wear those shades in the final battle scene. As he was wearing an oakley shades..
Zuno, was wondering if you could get a confirmation from rainman's side, regarding which version is the V2 gonna be (cause a few pgs back, someone said that you have confirmed rainman wouldn't touch the final battle version of tyler, as INAE has done them before.)?
If its the shaven head, then I'm gonna get this one, but if its still the spiked hair ones, then I'd rather get just the v2.

Yeah, I know. A final battle Tyler, which should be a V2 look, wears completely different sunglasses.
And a second version of the same spikey haired Tyler doesn't seem like a good idea to me. The sunglasses are an important part of the costume and it would stink for one version to include them and another version not to.

Well, he could've done a clean spikey haired for the V1, and the bruises and wounded spikey haired tyler for the V2.
But as these aren't exactly priced like HT, I can only buy one version. And I'd buy whichever include those red oliver peoples shades.

The glasses are definitely a must! More than the rings. I hope Rainman can work everything out and get us some full pics before the preorder. This is getting really iffy right about now.
IMHO, rainman should just make 1 tyler. The shades can be sent later; a week, a month, or as long as the metal sculptor need to get it right and done. As long as rainman has given the word that hed be sending those out, I'd be totally fine.
I think he should focus more on other characters from fight club. Just like what he did with the GBU series.
He can do a edward norton, marla singer, jared leto, I'd be more excited in those. Rather than having rainman make another tyler not because he wants to, but because the sunglass maker requires more time, and that he can only give it to us on a v2 tyler.

A agree that a V2 just for sunglasses seems unnecessary and he should figure out a way to include them with this Tyler.

Of course you've got to have access to the equipment, but glasses like these seem fairly straight forward.
Thats machine cut metal with the proper depressions to allow it to bend without breaking at the side points. Not exactly something a guy with scissors could do.
I would too, but prolly more of disappointed than upset.
I mean, everytime HT did this (joker, ironman mark 3, predator etc), I felt like I should have been more patient and wait.

He could just release a V.2 with them and make extra to send to the V.1 people as well. 
Besides, I don't think that glasses that came with the HT men suit is up to rainman's standard.
From what I have seen from his past work, I think he'd want it to look, and be as close as the real op 523 as possible

Don't set your expectations too high. While awesome, there are some minor weak spots. The pocket watch face, for instance, is just a paper decal instead of micro printed in paint the way HT might have done it.

So are his previous custom threads normally cluttered with whiners like us, who complains and demands perfection
most definitely. I hope Rainman understands our passion for these are as strong (if not stronger in some cases ) than his own, and if we get crazy sometimes it's out of love for what he does. 
He hasn't really let us down before (maybe the one sided Blondie poncho ) and hopefully he'll find a way to include the sunglasses.
