Man, I think rainman should pay out a small dividend of his sales to EC for doing some research and diggings on the rings details and costumes

Yes, he saw the pictures and I already have sent photos of rings before.
But he has a trouble to make the rings.
As you see, the pictures are fuzzy to make 3D.
Anyone have more detail and bigger shots? (Thanks EC anyway... )

And he can't make the sunglasses at this time due to technical matters.
He is discussing with a metal handicraftsman.
So he is considering the second version of Fighter 1999.
Then, He would make it.

I agree with Hydeous' idea of sending them out at a later date....OR......just delay the figure until the glasses can be made.

Two versions does not sound good to me.

If its the shaven head, then I'm gonna get this one, but if its still the spiked hair ones, then I'd rather get just the v2.

Me too. If the v2 is just going to be a slighlty different sculpt/paint, (perhaps beatan up), with the shades, I would go v2 also.

Would love any form of confirmation please zuno.

As i mentioned yesterday, I really agree that I'd much rather see this figure delayed and perfected in both sculpt and details (glasses, rings etc.) before it is released. MUCH rather see that than a V2 released. Oooh boy.

As you may guess, Rainman already exceeded the estimates due to the leather jacket and chest part, etc... than the last gunmen series.
As far as I know, He is going to fix the cost as much as the gunmen's.
So he had to give up the sunglasses for this version and considers the 2nd version...

If it is s similar spikey haired Tyler with red leather jacket AND shades I would probably hold off.

Here's a very rough, quick drawing of Tyler's rings. The dimensions are off but I think they're close enough to get an idea.

And if Rainman thinks he'll be able to make Tyler's glasses in the near future, I say wait to ship them until then. The pre-order could still go up with a *sunglasses included but not pictured* notice.

Hmm... so unless there are other items included, Fighter1999's jacket, shirt, pants, shoes, head, chest and 1:1 bar of soap = the same cost as the previous Gunmen?

Also, if he thinks that cost wise, its impossible to include the glasses, then increase the price of it. I'm sure all of us here would rather pay $700, heck $800 and get only one version of tyler with loads of accesories, rather than shelling out $650 for 2 similar sculpt of tyler, which makes it $1300, with minimum accessories.

maybe a second version would just be a simple version: beaten up head, sunglasses, chest, bunny slippers and bath robe? But I agree, I'd rather 1 version instead of 2.

And I'd rather he ditch the bar of soap and include sunglasses instead if it's a matter of production cost.
1:6 sunglasses are better than a 1:1 bar of soap.

I totally agree. Zuno please plead our case with Rainman for one perfect version of Tyler. The extra cost and wait would be more than worth it.

When he put it that way, it feels to me that he's just doin the V2, just because of the cost of the glasses and that it may take a while, and not because he feels the need to do it, as an artist.

But ah, let's just look at the bright side, the silver lining is that at least we get more variations of tyler. Although I still hope that we get those shades this time around

It would be the shaven head version if he makes the 2nd version.
As you know, there is the INAE's shaven head version but it has never been sold outside Korea.
So I guess she would understand him to make it... And they know each other very well.

Shaved head Tyler sounds great, I'd love to have that version as well. But, again, he wears different sunglasses in that costume and not the red ones.

But, then if he plans on doin the final battle version, then it would be the same pair of shoes with this one then?

I wish he could've sculpted the boots, this time around, and give us the gucci loafers then. This is almost like the joker v1 + bank robber concept, where to get the full look, you have to get both

But I'm liking the idea of the final battle mode. And I hope its the concept look he's going after (fur coat, 'live porn' tank top, maroon pants, gucci loafers, OP 523 shades) so at least giving those shades then would make a bit of sense.

If he could pack the glasses with the v1, that would make the waiting of the v2 sweeter!

So does he normally start off the next project as soon as he finish shipping the first one? Or does he take a small break

I can't wait to see the v2 proto, although I haven't even seen the whole v1 proto just yet
