i just got a bonus from work and just sold some stuff so i got the money just need to get into rainmans site now which is proving harder than expected

I might have gone for the figure if I knew he was going to redo the sculpt. It didn't look like Pitt which is why I didn't order. Guess if it improves I'll go for the head and clothes.

I might pick up an extra unpainted head and have small studios paint a beat up tyler

Yeah. To be honest, were I not a rabid Fight Club and Chucky P. fan and had I not purchased from Rainman before, I would have passed. But even the best pics don't really due justice to the Gunmen figures and from experience, Rainman has been very professional and eager to improve the end product every step of the way, so that, and the much improved pants/shirt, put me over the top. In Rainman (and Tyler) I trust. Let's see what else he cooks up for us.

I think I missed out on this one? (New here, not entirely sure how it works...) Too bad, I would have jumped at one of these. I love Tyler, and even if the sculpt doesn't look 100% like the actor, it captures the character exactly IMHO!

fantastic news! The headsculpt is already a thing of beauty but i do agree the likeness could be better. Rainman is a true artist, going back to improve the product for his customers, and im sure his own perfectionism.

I also agree he should take all the time he needs to make it perfect. I understand he wants to keep moving forward with more figures, and generate more income, but I just wouldn't want him to feel pressured by a deadline by any of his customers. After all, we'd all most likely rather have a higher quality product later, than a lower quality product sooner!

Yeah, people are going to look back on these along with Kojun, IANE, Arnie Kim, etc.

To be in that company, it's better to take the time to get the work as complete and perfected as possible.

IMO rainman may even surpass those wonderful artists. If he has not been contracted to hot toys or enterbay he will be soon. Let's hope we can see a few more favorites before then. Alex from clockwork orange, at least a head for Norton from fight club, Bill the Butcher I think are at the top of my list. Oh and Michael Corleone.
