Isn't that Corey Feldman next to Sly? :lol

He doesnt look as buffed because he doesnt have his steroids.
They were confiscated at an Australian airport while Stallone and his hangers on were en-route to the set.
Australian port authorities are going to charge them soon I believe. Google it.

Well yeah, but that's not the reason for the change in his build. It can't be. The incident in Australia went down a few weeks ago; He's been working out for this movie for months!

Plus, I'm pretty sure he had more of the ol' Jintropin stashed away at home.

Rambo looks like this because that's how Sly wants him to look. Grizzled.

:lol Sly may be old but he's still better built then most people his age.
He's actually better built than most people HALF his age.

And looking at those pics again... neat to see the tube for the wound on his left shoulder. That thing's gonna be squirtin' some blood! :google

HGH is not steroids i have a bottle of HGH right next to me.(they're just amino acids)He had the expensive kind(injectable)which are a tad different but still not steroids.

His face looks like a woman.

Definitely a film I can miss.

Maybe I just can't stand Sylvester Stallone, but then again I saw Rocky and I didn't like it, but I haven't seen any Rambo movies. Doesn't look like I'll be starting anyway. I wonder how much steroids he takes.

...and he has proven the concept can work with Balboa. I think he has earned the benefit of the doubt right now.
Rocky Balboa rocked and if he could do that with a Franchise that I thought was dead, I think it'll be kinda cool to see what they do with this.

I can't imagine a Rambo film without Jerry Goldsmith's incredible score. That was some of his finest work as a composer. He really elevated those films with his scores and somehow I think Rambo IV will be missing one of its most essential ingredients. The other being Richard Crenna. This won't fit in the same with the other films in the series. I wish they had made this 10 years ago when they were still alive. I hope they don't get some composer like the guy who did Terminator 3 to churn out some mediocre and forgettable score. It needs that essential Rambo signature on it.

Jerry Goldsmith passed away?

Well put, I remember seeing pictures for Rocky and thinking wow, he's 60 and in better shape than me, really unsettling thought, Sly's the man, and I'm glad to see him bringing back the action film of old, I miss those types of movies (hopefully Die Hard 4 will resemble the other 3), and after RB, I think Stallone has grown as a director and will do well, if he's directing this, I'm not sure if that's been confirmed or not.

Somebody make these guys stop. Arnold was playing a robot so I'll give him a pass. Bruce is a lot younger so he gets a pass for the next "Die Hard" movie, please make it the last.

But Sly? Rambo should be at the old soldiers home by now. He a Vietnam vet.

And Harrison Ford Indy again? In my opinion the part should have been recast with a new actor as they do with James Bond. That way the character lives on.

Sorry Boot. I am looking forward to Indy 4 I just thought with the large gap of time that has passed since Crusade that this would be the perfect time to change actors and keep the franchise alive.

Sadly, yes.

That's tragic, for Rambo, for Star Trek, and for many other films that he crafted magic for. Jerry was like John Williams for many film series (I kept crossed fingers through all of the Prequels that John Williams would be able to score the entire Star Wars Saga). Other can emulate what's been done, but often they put their own twist on it, where the original compser understands the themes and the story and knows the reason for the compositions, all another can do really is repeat the notes and make guesses. Of anyone out there right now composing film scores, I'd like John Williams or Hans Zimmer to do this film, I think either of them could carry on Jerry's legacy faithfully.

Jerry Goldsmith has a composer son who did some work on the Trek soundtracks. He doesnt seem to be as talented as his father however.

yeah like maybe Dennis Quaid, hes about 12 years younger than ford, still old but looks much better (in his current age than ford does) and I think looks like Indy and can act like Indy...........

I think the movie will be pretty good. I have faith that Sly is in a good place right now and very capable of putting together a solid film. He looks a bit flabby, but that's okay. All of my actors don't need to look like the cast from 300.

As for the Sly being to old to play a legit Rambo, I'm sure Sly is going to play up the old man aspect of Rambo at 60. As long as he's as honest about himself as he was with Rocky Balboa, I'm certain the film will be quite the good action picture.
