yeah like maybe Dennis Quaid, hes about 12 years younger than ford, still old but looks much better (in his current age than ford does) and I think looks like Indy and can act like Indy...........

David Duchovny from theX Files. He has got the same wry sense of humor as the character.

Quaid already did Dreamscape in which he played an Indy-like character with Kate Capshaw and the poster marketing made it look like the next Indiana Jones. The movie was awful.

   That was BIG news. I was so depressed the day it happened. Movies will never be the same. I have sorely missed him already. He was the greatest film composer ever. So much more diversity than Williams. God bless Goldsmith.

Regarding this Rambo Returns thing...

This is as necessary as The Brady Bunch Goes Hawaiian. Do most artists attempt to repeat the success of their youth later in life?

I won't judge the movie until I see it, but what are its chances...

I regard this like Rocky Balboa, there is room to bring the character full circle, and with a character like Rambo, obviously you can make things up cuz it's film, but there tends to be a historical background behind the story, so I think this film would have been done sooner, but Stallone needed to arrive at a certain place as an artist, and the messed up times the world is in now leaves plenty of room for a Rambo type situation, plus I think it'd do the world good to have Rambo to turn to again.

I'm still looking forward to it... But mainly because I like to revisit a character when he's past his prime. Just interesting to see where life took them and who they are at that point. Besides, I just like that "Old Soldier" character... they are always so grizzled and tough as nails... I'll see it as soon as it comes out for sure. Rocky Balboa surprised me and really made me feel that character again... I think Rambo 4 will do the same.

That was my senior year of college, if it wasn't family guy, south park or anything dumb like that, I wouldn't have noticed, plus I was in Star Wars 3 hype then, and that was my focus. Deffinately a big loss for the world, he will be missed, I have all 3 Rambo soundtracks I love his music so much.

Time for a Hot Toys 12" John Rambo part 4 figure...We all know that will kick ass!!

I'll be there, I don't care how saggy his tits are.

Its f**kin' Rambo man:rock

Hot Toys will have to make a new rubber muscle body to reflect this. :lol

I'll go see it for nothing else to see it. His body doesn't look like it knows what it wants to do honestly. Be sculpted or sag like most people at his age. :lol

I'm just fine with that... there's already too much worth buying at the present.

Well I agree there, part of me wants to finish off the trio, the other part knows I might have to pass on it for budget right now so later is better in the end.

Ya know, I'm not questioning the "casting"...if Indy Jones was the type of character who could be played by a slew of different actors (and yes, I'm well aware of River Phoenix...who did a spot-on Ford, by the way...Sean Patrick Flanery and the kid, but they don't count), I could actually see Duchovny or Quaid doing pretty well. It's just that the very idea of recasting this part is practically offensive to me.

Ford is Indiana Jones. The two are as intertwined as Stallone and Rocky Balboa. Could you really imagine The Rock as Rocky? Ben Stiller as Ace Ventura? Gerard Butler as Snake Plissken? (oh, wait...)

Nah, I'm fine with there only being one Henry Jones Jr. Even if it means only having four adventures to join him on; Better that than having to sit through 2 hours of Paul Walker as Indiana Jones v.3.0. :D
