Saw the trailer today and it did not feel like a Rambo movie at all but just a new Stallone movie. No iconic Rambo/First Blood soundtrack at all. We need a new trailer mixed with the proper music.

This is only a teaser, so we might get the theme in the next one. Having said that, I think it was a brilliant move to use a very popular song that people recognize as a way to connect with young people that might not care about Stallone in 2019. They made the song work somehow, and people seem to like the trailer because of it. The Rambo 4 trailers didn't use the theme either, so maybe they won't, but it will be in movie. If it's not in the movie, then we have a problem.

I thought of First Blood and the shoe shine box bomb story. ;_;

I noticed two things. At 1:01 and 1:06, if you slow it down or watch it frame by frame, you can see that Rambo has a huge scar on the right side of his face, it almost looks like a Nike logo, from the sideburn all the way down to his cheek and curves upward.

At 1:01 he's probably returning home from Mexico after getting beat up by those guys with the guns. I'm guessing he spent some time recovering in Mexico because he has some bruises and the cut has become a scar. That's why the trailer says "they drew first blood", because he goes over there, gets his ass kicked, recovers, and takes them all out. Now, how does he get them to come to his ranch? I don't know. Maybe he goes back to Mexico and kills some people and let's a guy live to deliver a message, and where to find him.

I thought he got a great ending already in 4.

What this is about is an actor who refuses to give up his fame even though he already has fortune I mean look at Robert Redford in EG with all of his plastic surgery he looked like a cadaver why can’t actors just bow out gracefully like fat Jack Nicholson lol

Some actors just need that fame until their last breath.

Eh this looks ok. Trying to be a Logan riff. The trailer makes it look like it was supposed to come out in 2007. Best thing they could do is get a new actor.

Yes, that movie would've been perfect with crazy Mel in it. It's a good thing Hardy was playing the feral kid.

Well the trailer is a bit cringeworthy/ laughable but it’ll probably a fun little r rated action movie.
