The Clown Prince of Crime
Super Freak
Interesting interview with Stallone in Variety a few days ago about how angry he is he doesn't have any controlling ownership in the Rocky franchise (despite earning tens of millions.) Had no idea how bad - and long - his 90's/early 2000s career slump was (fired from his agents etc.)
He sold it to the studio and part of the deal was he would play the role. He got the money and the starring role, so the studio owes him nothing. No one forced Sly to sell it.
His career slump was probably around 8 or 9 years, from 1997 (Cop Land)/ 1998 (ANTS) until 2006 when he did Rocky 6. However, he was in a Spy Kids movie and also had a tv show during that time, but yeah he was done. So was Arnold, but he got into politics, so that was a good excuse to not make movies.
