I can't imagine the RPG, there's no way for him to hold it and look right in the pose this is in.

There are goodies, but what's practical. He's in a specific pose to aim and fire the gun and hold the bullets. It ruins the aesthetic of the piece to have a seam for swapping out any upper body part other than his head, if they sculpt the necklace on they can use that as a hidden seamline to do head swaps, otherwise, I see it just being him holding the gun and that's all he can do, so as far as Exclusives to directly alter the piece, heads are all I can imagine based on the tease shot.
So then it comes down to is there anything you can add as just something else on display around the piece, and really all there is are his weapons, but for just an exclusive, how far do you go, the best way I can think of to randomly display his weapons alongside him would be if you had like some sort of crate with the bow and knife laying in there, or something like that, just a weapon on a pedistal would probably look kind bland.
There's also the option of doing something like a 1:1 Co necklace or something like that which would be a nice bonus for a Rambo collector but isn't directly tied to serving a purpose for the PF itself.
There's options, but outside of alternate portraits, some of the things they could do seem like they'd be to force having an exclusive more than it being something really worth doing.

Well, expression is one thing you could vary, but also the hair.
They could do one more sweaty and wet like in Nam.
And one like back in Thailand.
Not the right scene but still about the right hair look.
I don't think for design reasons it'd be out of the question, maybe just because the piece may not be as popular as other things and not worth doing multiple heads.
Though multiple heads is probably unlikely because of the effort. As far as I know, PF's with swappable heads have been variations of the same head, like Indy hat and no hat, Anakin's eye paint change, no full on differences, at least with actor likenesses to capture, Asajj is a totally fictional look they didn't have to match to so she's got 2 different heads.

I really don't care if it has one or not, fun to speculate, I'm just pumped a new Rambo piece is out there. Rambo might possibly be my all-time favorite movie character, but it's also one of the least marketed properties. I'd have loved for the Hot Toys line to be so much more than it is, I'd love if Sideshow/HCG had made a Legendary bust from each film, depending on which film it was based on and the look, hell I'd take a 1:1 bust of Rambo, I'd probably want it from Rambo 4, at 1:1, the old, refined face would look more interesting and take better advantage of the scale.

You don't need that much interest, 1:1 busts are usually an ES of like 500 or so.

That varies, I'd say average, 6-8 months. Depends on the edition size and complexity of the piece, no exclusive, I would guess Rambo would be a simpler PF to produce than a fully clothed one, his most challenging element being the gun.
The more basic the package, the less it should take to get him out. If he's pretty basic, I'd say we could see him like February, if he's more complex, maybe April.
Hopefully he won't take too long.

I am pretty sure Sideshow won`t stop with Rambo 2,Poncho Rambo from First blood is definitely a good choice for a PF.
