Empire
Jedi (the good stuff makes me prefer it over ANH, in spite of its not so good stuff)
ANH
TPM (crap SW film but watchable space adventure film)
AOTC (actually has some great sequences amongst the suck)
ROTS (its greatest offence is having the most SW relevance of all the PT....and being utterly and completely $**t at it)

C'mon, break down the prequels bro!
I haven't watched any of them in many years, and probably only saw the 2nd and 3rd ones once at the theater. But, if I had to. . .

Phantom Menace (got some of the tone right, even if everything else went horribly wrong)
Return of the Sith (I don't remember liking anything about it, and hated the child murdering, emo death of Padme, and lame ass final battle. But the Vader "NOOOOOO!" made me laugh, and it wasn't as bad as the Clone Wars)
Clone Wars (deserves it simply for the horrible romance subplot, the stupid robot factory scene, and one of the most transparent money grabs in the history of movies with Django Fett)

Not to start an argument here but to me the whole Emperor/Vader and Luke scenes in ROTJ is what made me put it ahead off ESB, those scenes to me are SW through and through and when that music kicks in when Luke rages at his father really gets you going and captures all that is SW beautifully.

Also the Emperor arriving on the DS II was another great scene for me. A real show of force.

Other than Jabba's Palace and the Han Solo Rescue, the Luke/Vader/Emperor scenes aboard the Death Star is all ROTJ has for me. Everything else is crap (from the brother/sister thing to the Rebels to Endor to the Ewoks). The duel and redemption at the end isn't enough for me to edge out Empire or the classic moments from Star Wars.

And I will say, as much as I loathe ROTS, I do LOVE the Emperor in that film. :lol He's the best part in my opinion.

Those scenes make me put ROTJ above ANH, but not enough to put it above Empire.

ESB is the overall better movie no doubt but when someone always ask me what is my best SW movie, ROTJ always takes it and is the movie I would keep if I could only have one SW movie in my life.

Yeah there is a lot of ****e and no one gives a damn stuff in ROTJ but the whole movie just caught on to me. I was fascinated with all the characters and funny looking aliens throughout the movie, The Emperor, Vader vs. Luke, 'It's a trap', Vader unmasked, Jabba, Fett, Vader struggling with his emotions. The film was a hell of a ride especially seeing it as a young 'un.

I really liked ROTS but I can understand why some don't but mostly everyone agrees that Emperor was the highlight. I do prefer his portrayal in ROTJ and they may have made him a little OTT in ROTS but he was still the best thing about the PT.

ROTJ
ESB
ANH
TPM
<----- Insert Clone Wars Cartoon (because it's Cannon) :lol
ROTS
<------- Insert Episode 7

AOTC

I liked Endor. :dunno Those teddy bears could dish it out. I'll take cute and cuddly badasses over a conversation about how Padme isn't like sand.
