I got to see this early tonight and it was great. The acting was awesome and the story worked really well. I was scared for this movie but if you like the other films at all you will like this movie a lot.
Read the following at your own risk. I spoil a great deal of the film here.
At first I didn't like the Marcus character at all. He was kind of out of place and I didn't really get what he was even doing there. But the last 30-45 minutes of the movie he really shines. To find out he is a prototype for the infiltration unit and he doesn't even know it is a real awesome twist.
I loved the different kind of Terminators that they had in this movie. Lots of different ones and each seemed to have it's own use. Snake like ones for water, motorbike ones for fast land movement, and even a giant one for capturing humans and taking them to the "camps where they are disposed of".
I also have to say that Arnie's appearence in this movie ROCKS! His fight with Connor and Marcus is awesome. Great effects and really brought back memories from the first movies. I was giddy with excitement when he was fighting and then Arnie's skin was blown off and the battle moved to the factory and it was awesome to see all the Terminators being put together. They really updated the way the T-800 Endoskeleton can move in this film. Way more realistic looking than in the older movies. I'm glad they did it.
I still haven't watched the 3D version yet i'm waiting to watch it on my projector does the 3D work well in this film? Oh and as for a score you missed 2.5% off this film it has to have 10/10 it had Jensen in for frig sake!
Angels and Demons - 5/10 - Good acting and production, nice score but boring as hell. You could also see the ending coming from the start of the flick.
A side note, anyone else roll their eyes at characters like Robert Langdon and Ben Gates (from National Treasure, which I enjoyed) who just know to much bs? The dates and places and names of people and secret groups?
