Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Man Bites Dog....I wish I knew how to rate this. I will give it a 7 out of 10 I guess. It's a very well made mockumentary and the performance by the serial killer is fantastic. I just have no ambition to ever watch it again.

Brothers Bloom 8/10. Loved this film! Rian Johnson is really becoming a favorite filmmaker of mine. Between this, Brick and Looper, I will watch anything he decides to make.

Man Bites Dog was really original and shocking when it first came out. It's lost a bit of it's edge since we've gone past that point of shock.
The conversation with his Dad/Granddad?(can't remember) about Bridget Bardot is hilarious as is when he's in the hospital next to that old man.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Yeah I don't know if it feels shocking by today's standards, but this is also why I really do not like many gore porn horror films. So for myself, it still felt a bit shocking. The rape scene in particular was almost more than I could bare. But it was well worth a watch and gave my friends and I something to discuss for a few days. Now we bust into yelling "CINEMA!!!!!!!" dramatically :lol Not sure if it was his father or grandfather, I thought it was his father, but it felt unclear if these were his parents or grandparents.

The Hobbit - 6/10

Nice to see the Tolkien/Jackson world again but the film itself wasn't the best. The action scenes were a bit overly busy, couldn't tell what was going on a lot of the time nor do I particularly care at any point.

The Last Stand - 6/10 -Average action flick. Would be direct to video without Arnold.

V/H/S - 7.5/10 - Pretty kewl "lost footage" anthology with some nice deaths and stories.

Sons of Anarchy: Season 2 - 8/10 - Pretty good season.

Sons of Anarchy: Season 3 - 6.5/10 - Big step down from the previous seasons. It just drug on and wasn't that interesting. Stephen King was the highlight.

DREDD -7.5/10

Great film. Karl urban played a great Dredd. I loved the gun-fights and slo-mo sequences.

V/H/S

A found footage horror film. Some genuinely disturbing/brutal moments, particularly one in the second segment which takes place in a hotel room. The whole setup is kind of slow but once the movie gets going, it gets better.

6/10
