Amour - How do I possibly rate this one?
Acting 8/10
Entertainment value 1/10
Can't believe I actually made it through this movie without either falling asleep or turning it off out of sheer boredom. Comparing it to paint drying would be unfair to paint, more like watching a stopwatch tick by while in bullet time or waiting for a kettle to boil with the stove turned off.
Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate slow paced movies, and the acting was spot on as was it's depicton of watching a loved one deteriorate. What this film was in serious need of was an editor, they could have EASILY cut out 25 minutes of this movie, which runs at 127 minutes.
The only way I would recommend this film is if you are in need of a seep aid.
