The New World ... Zzzzz/10. I've been through about an hour of this so far. Maybe I'll watch the second hour after I come out of my coma. Holy crap.

The whole movie seemed like a long montage of some mopey Indian broad wandering through grass looking longingly at nothing ... with a schmaltzy voiceover. I skipped about an hour of it ... and came back ... and almost nothing had happened. The annoying Indian chick was dressed slightly better and wandering through farm grass rather than wild grass. Zzzzz .....

The stupid part is, it really had potential. A movie about the settlement of Virginia -- and British clashes with Natives in Virginia -- with Christian Bale and Colin Farrell should've been great. It is amazing that it sucked that badly. Why hire Bale and Farrell, and spend so much camera time on the least interesting Indian broad ever conceived?

Pocahontas -- one of Disney's crappier animated movies -- was a lot better. And I didn't much like Pocahontas.

The Bounty ... a slow, fairly mediocre movie where Mel Gibson mutinies against Anthony Hopkins to go back to a polynesian girl on some random island ... was a lot better. At least they figured out that Hopkins and Gibson were the stars.

Lords of Salem

5/10
Ultimately disappointed once I got to the end.
Interesting take on some Biblical characters there...not to spoil it, namely the short fella with flapping "arms".

Not naming any names, but there also seems to be a common theme in Zombie's movies to kill off the only likable characters.

World War Z (Unrated version) - 4/10 A mess. Third act after plane goes boom (puh-leez...) feels sooooo tacked-on, no tension (obviously Pitt ain't going to die), stupid abrupt pseudo-happy ending crap. His family may as well not be in the film. Bad bad bad IMO.

Oasis of the Zombies - 1.5/10

ha ha ha this movie is horrible, but a guilty pleasure at the same time. This goes right up there with Shockwaves.

Hatchet 3 - 5/10

I could barely stay awake. I gave it 5 for the pure cheesy gore this movie brought and Danielle Harris.

GI-joe Retaliation: 3/10 Honestly I just watched it, yet can't tell you what happened it's so choppy.

Now you see me: 6/10- entertaining but for some reason I thought it was pointless.

Hatchet 3 - 5/10 - worth a rental, but wouldnt rewatch it again

Now You See Me - 7/10 - clever movie and it kept me guessing the whole time. As far as "Magic" movies go, I still like The Prestige.
