Public Enemies: 6/10 Honestly I just wasn't that impressed... kind of slow and I didn't really care about any of the characters. I was really looking forward to this one as well, but it just didn't click with me.

I'd give it exactly the same. Depp was good as always but other than that it was poorly written and poorly directed. Such a bore of a film.

That is a shame because Michael Mann is amazing so it is hard to believe that is poorly directed. I guess I will find out in a couple hours.

I just rented Outlander:

I didn't expect much, I had seen a really poor quality trailer for it a year ago and that was it.

FRAKIN HELL WHY DIDN'T THIS GET A WIDE RELEASE IN THEATERS!!!!
GREAT SCI-FI ACTION MOVIE.

It's not entirely perfect, but better then most of the crap action films that are heavily marketed. It's even better then the Robert Zemeckis Beowulf animated movie (Outlander is loosely based on the Beowulf poem). It's about on the same level as Pitch Black, but with a story more similar to Predator (minus all the characters that made Predator a classic).

I'd give it a 7.5/10

A Haunting In Connecticut 7.5 Pretty good made me jump a good few times well worth a watch to be honest.

8/10 - Another movie that got lost in the shuffle and featured a really bad misleading trailer/ad campaign...plus it was released around the same time as that Disney Sandler thing "Bedtime Stories" was with kinda sorta the same idea and we all know that in America, you just can't compete with fart jokes, bathroom humor and pop culture sight gags...

Seriously though...if you liked "Return to Oz", Golden Compass", you'll like this movie's mix of darkness, fun and wistfulness....much better than I was expecting.

The Public Enemies 8/10

Really liked this movie, Depp was of course fantastic. Bale was good but really didn't have much to work with. Michael Mann rocks faces off with shoot outs, I love it. Very cool film. I think one major down fall was they didn't easily express how much time has passed between major scenes. All in all great flick.

Liked this movie alot, but it was a bit dull at points and kind of slow moving....

Transformers ROTF: 9/10
i really liked this movie, even though i never saw the first one. at least not all of it (only little bits)
But I could've done without the robot testicles and the guy in the thong, and the toilet paper guy
