Gravity 10/10

Film of the year I think. Didn't think Mud would be beaten this year for me but this topped it.

The most immersive, intense film I think I have ever watched. The 3D was so impressive! Finally a film where it was really warranted.

Never been a huge fan of Bullock but her performance here is as good as it gets.

Need to digest this a lot more and take in the majestic filmmaking I have just witnessed.

The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms: 8/10

I'm embarrassed to say I had never seen this until now.

What!!!! Are you crazy! One of the best Ray Harryhausen films. Lee van cleef I think made his screen debut..I think

Wait, when have we had a member named Heisenberg since 2009? :lol

You just didn't know it.

Watch Rush. It's even better than Mud and Gravity. Better story than Mud and more authentic and accurate than Gravity. Yes, yes, Rush is based on a true story. One could say it's an unfair comparison to make, but a lot of the physics in Gravity would not happen in real-world situations. Which, lets face it, is selling itself off with the realistic vibe.

I have. I really loved it and rated it a 9/10, but I prefer both Mud and Gravity. Rush would definitely be in my top 5 this year. The cinematography was gorgeous :rock

Gravity is an immersive experience. I just really enjoyed it on a base level and marveled at the scope and majesty of it.

Iron Man 3 - 7/10

When I first saw this movie, I thought it was an abomination to man-kind. But besides the stupid twist, villain and ending, I actually like it now.

I caught 'Marnie' the 1964 Hitchcock film the other day - 8/10.

Sean Connery, Tipi Hedren, Diane Baker (yum), & Alan Napier (TV Alfred) - really interesting movie.

Apparently not one of his most revered, but still solid stuff. :duff
