Pain & Gain: 7.5/10 Very entertaining, but did feel a bit long.
Man With the Iron Fists: 7/10 Avoided this from all the bad reviews, but ended up being a blast for me.

Well said. If I really had to eek out a top five - as well as STAR WARS, JAWS is immediately there.

It really is a perfect film. :rock

To me, it's got to be the most re-watchable film I've ever seen. If it's on, I don't care where it's at in the film I need to watch it until the end. Luckily it was on last night and I caught it right when Quint was using the rod to try to get a bite from the Shark.

Also watched The Fly, yet again over the weekend. 10/10 Masterpiece of Cronenberg. The older I get, the more disturbing it gets because the whole Fly disease is based around the aging process.

Actually, JAWS2 was on TV a month or so ago - & from memory (not having seen it in years), I kind of remembered it fondly. When I watched it, it didn't take long to realize that the magic had vanished with Spielberg gone & the whole production just coming across as a poor attempt to try & catch that lightning in a bottle again.

JAWS is certainly a beloved film to me - & always will be. :duff

Jaws II is watchable, but it's still completely hideous when you compare it to the first one. Even to this day, Jaws truly made the ocean frightening.

The Last Samurai 9.5/10

A wonderful film. The cinematography, score and performances are all top draw for me. The story is a little cliche at times but I can get over it. All in all it's a powerful piece of storytelling which captures the rich Japanese/Samurai history superbly well.

Thor 2 8/10
Riddick 7/10
Rush 8/10
The Hobbit: Extended Edition 7.5/10
Silver Lining Playbook 8/10
The Wolverine 7/10
