I don't think I've seen anyone who liked it.

It was nothing special but it was very well made, good movie overall, I'd give it a 7 or an 8, Sharlto stole the show.

I thought that was MoS.

:lol MoS is not meh at all, either people love it or hate it.

Interesting.

The original film is outstanding - but I haven't read the book or watched the US one, so I can't debate your points at all really.

That said - I don't feel compelled to watch the remake in the slightest. :lol

But I know you want to :lol

I liked the originals as well, they are what got me reading the books, but I always thought Lisbeth was a bit out of place with Noomi, and she found her place in Rooney Mara, she's perfect for Lisbeth, she's now my favorite female character, the American version did many things better than the Swedish one in my opinion, to the point that now when I read the books, I always picture the cast of the American version instead :lol, this is one of those rare cases of the hollywood version being better than the foreign version, If you liked the 1st version, I'd think at least you won't find the latter one worst than the 1st.

.......you haven't seen the America version? Fantastic movie. Easily in my top 5 all-time favorites.

I love the Swedish version as well, but it doesn't compare to the American version IMO.

Really hope they start working on the sequel.

Agreed, I think the American version was closer to what Larsson intended for the characters.

Glad that the movie is still happening despite hiccups with delays and production costs.

The trick now is to bring back Craig and Fincher.

The part in bold is a big call, but hey - fair enough. :)

Yeah - I've refused to watch it till now on principle. :lol

Gaspar makes some good points though..

Warm Bodies - so stupid I gave up after about 30 minutes

Yet you sat through a movie directed by some hack who has no business directing movies, and gave it a good rating.

:FREAK:

Half kidding aside, I enjoyed Warm Bodies. It was an original take on an overdone film genre.

Yeah it's a big call, but cases like that are very rare.

I'm almost sure that if you don't find it better, at least you won't find it worse.

Yeah me too, the movie didn't take itself seriously, it was quite enjoyable.

Goon - 7 out of 10. Such a cute.... errrr I mean funny and manly guy's film! Love it! Shot in my city and it's about hockey... cast rocks.
