SW the og trilogy without any nonsensical Lucas mod :lol.

A new hope 10/10 I'd rather live in this Tatooine than in the one in ep.1
The empire strikes back 10/10 I freaking love Yoda in this one.
The return of the jedi 10/10 ..... Leia: Luke's my brother.... -Han: Ew.

If anyone can return SW it's magic, is Disney.

Man of Steel - 5/10 I dislike the entire opening on Krypton because rather than feeling original it just feels like a modern version of the Marlon Brando stuff playing out with little lifts from every imaginable other sci-fi of the past 10 years. The Matrix nanoprobe things forming shapes and grabby claws, and Matrix baby fields with robot spider pickers, the Avatar flying ridable beasts, the Codex, Zod looks like he got all his gun ships from the Republic wholesale after the Clone Wars... Lois is also really forced into most of her scenes and Costner is at his least likable ever. I did like Cavill and the action minus some of the more lame scenes like the gravity stopping just one pound away from killing Perry. It's really shocking watching Metropolis get destroyed and not in a good way. Not even in a quick and over way like Watchmen it feels cringeworthy constantly thinking how many people would be getting killed when so many buildings are collapsing with no warning. When I watch the finale of the Avengers it feels funner, here it feels like your watching out of morbid curiousity the way you put on a big news story where lots of people are in danger, your just worried. :lol It just didn't feel right.

:goodpost: tho I'd rate it 4/10 cuz it's not even a Superman movie.

Lethal Weapon - 7.5 / 10

I don't know if I've watched it entirely before, but it would've been a very long time ago.

Mel's pretty good in it actually - he would've made a good Batman back in the day I reckon, & Glover is.. Glover, which is fine I guess. :lol

One thing - I can't STAND Gary Busey. I liked him in 'Point Break' - as a good guy, but that's it. Some bits reminded me of Predator 2 with Glover running around & Busey on the chase - slicked hair & teeth a-blazing. :lol

Yea I think it's time to unsubscribe from this thread. Rating and reviews are so personal and related to one's own that I just can't see this "reviews" being helpful at all.

In used to enjoy picking up the rate film you never heard about from here but those are so few and far between now. I just don't see many of these being helpful

Dallas Buyers Club - 9/10

12 Years A Slave - 9.5/10

Two Movies that are masterpiece's. The only reason that I gave 12 years a better rating is because i thought Dallas buyers club would have been longer. Regardless McConaughey and Fassbender steal the show.

The Place Beyond The Pines - 9/10

I saw my wife recorded this yesterday, but I kind of passed it by figuring she only recorded it because it had Gosling and Cooper in it. May watch this with a glowing review from the rating thread. (See this thread works) :clap
