X-Men DOFP 8.5/10 for being in a stale continuity with a stale take on the characters, incredibly fun and innovative, it was a genius move to get rid of X3.

Guys, you have to check this out if you haven't seen it. It got taken down a few years back and the only copy on Youtube went private but someone put it back to public, thankfully. I would kill to see this guy's vision as opposed to what we got with Zombie. This was the pitch for a reboot. Even as rough as it is, it builds far more tension than Zombie came close to creating.

Not as cliche as a shot per shot remake of a superior masterpiece. :lol
With plenty of f bombs.
Not saying that Rob's movies were any good, not at all :lol
But that pitch was as cliched as it gets, nothing artistic or unique about it.
And, most importantly, TOO DAMN LONG! Four minutes is enough for pre-title opening with foreground characters getting killed.

People keep saying things like this. It gives the impression that X3 was disregarded from the canon when it wasn't. In fact of all the previous X-men films it was more significantly referenced when it showed Wolverine killing Jean Grey, the exact footage from X3. Then Kelsey Grammer Beast appears at the end and Logan is surprised to find Jean and Scott alive - ergo, as far as he was concerned they had been dead as per X3.

X3 happened, but now its key events have been undone.

I don't mean the movie itself should be disregarded, rather, the events that happened in it didn't happen after all :lol it wasn't a "**** you X3!" it was more a "hey guys, I'm gonna clean up the things you didn't like in X3 and un-kill the characters that got killed too".

That's what I refer to as genius.

Attack on Titan - 8.5/10

Seriously one of the BEST new anime's to be released. The overall serious tone along with a likeable plot, seriously worth the hype.

Now to wait for season 2 in 2015...
