Escape Plan - 8/10

I was surprised it ended up being a decent movie.

I loved Turtles! I gave it a solid 7.5

I went in not trying to expect much, came out fantastic; and Megan was just eye candy for me. Don't care about story or anything.

Last movie: Expandables 3 7/10

Wish it had more violence and gore. It was pretty decent, absolutely hated all the new recruits. I'd rather 80's action stars with their horrible one liners and such .

I meant I didn't expect the story to be some well written piece. I knew it would have some terrible points (So now April's dad created the turtles? I mean c'mon )

I don't go with that mentality into any film though

It was like that film 'Dark Water', another remake of a great Japanese horror film. I love Jennifer Connelly, but they just don't translate well into a Hollywood redo.

They're pointless as far as I'm concerned.

Even "The Grudge" remakes, directed by the creator of Ju-on himself, were stupid and meh.

I couldn't get into the Ju-on original, I thought it was boring. I'm probably jaded since the saw the remake first.
