About a year ago, I watched about 6 episodes of Season 1 and gave up. Literally everyone will tell you the same thing, this show didn't find it's footing until Season 2. So glad I gave it another chance thanks to the marathon on Esquire. As someone else said, where The Office got more annoying and characters became less interesting as the show progressed, this was the exact opposite. It just kept getting better.

Exactly the same. After those 4 episodes, I just felt a lot was forced and just not my thing. Honestly, I think I would have hated it a bit more if I didn't know about Ansari and Poehler, eventually including Plaza, Pratt, and Offerman. I was bored on Netflix, and decided to give it a go; plus I've seen a lot of dark stuff, would've been nice to get some comedy.

Office to me will always be great, up until Carell's departure. I don't mind Helm, but I'll pass. Office did just get annoying in time and a lot of their stuff kind of brought out some typecast for some things, like Wilson's current "Backstrom". Yeah, what is that?

Parks is a new favorite easily. So glad to give it that same chance. :duff

Yeah, I had free HBO for a weekend so I DVR'd it. It doesn't get better by the end. The whole concept is just so stupid. The trailers make her seem like she's "The One" like Neo or something but when you watch the movie you find out that the government is terrified of her because she has the ability to be a teacher, doctor, policeman, lawyer, or social worker. Oh noes! She's all powerful! Huh?

So she's going to use her power of choosing what she wants to be when she grows up to take over the world? Okay. :cuckoo:

That's exactly what I was thinking--I was expecting something more exciting than "you can be whatever you want when you grow up". I can't believe they're making more of them.

It's not even like she's "SUPER Career Woman!" Okay so she can be one of five things. Compared to our current society where any man or woman can choose between hundreds of vocations. But apparently you're a freaking ninja in the future if you can flip burgers AND file paperwork in an office somewhere. I can't believe it's a real movie.

Too low or too high? :lol

Not that I have anything against Jackson, but that role was set up to be a fail for whoever played it. Absolutely unnecessary for this movie. Oh well.

I can't stand that guy anymore. He makes like 50 movies a year, seems to be in every big movie franchise, and on top of that I have to see his face on commercials too. :monkey4

Well, the talk on the Alien thread made me want to see this movie. What the ******. Overall it wasn't that bad, but the end? awful, after all she has done... ugh it felt like a big cliche.

I think its just a decent movie, sort of... but whatever. I liked Margo she's awesome, she reminds me of one of my cousins
