Annie Hall - 88/100. I know it's a classic and should be rated higher but I didn't think Woody Allen and Diane Keaton had the best chemistry. Allen, however, is a comedic genius.

It was also pretty cool to see a bunch of unknown actors who would later become stars make cameos - Christopher Walken, Jeff Goldblum, Tracey Walter and Beverly D'Angelo.

Don't forget Sigourney Weaver in the final scene! :lecture

Jurassic Park - 10/10
A masterpiece on my eyes. My DVD started skipping around Mr. DNA and the dinner scene. Can't have that. Time to upgrade to the Bluray.

Jurassic World - 6/10
It was fun! Better than TLW and JPIII but I'll probably end up disregarding this one too in the end.

Nightcrawler - 8.5/10
I had no idea what this was even about but heard Gyllenhaal gave a great performance. Agreed. He was great! Creepy movie.

One heck of a great movie :clap. It didn't have much of a plot, but the art direction and imagery was breathtaking and haunting. Can't get enough of Mads Mikkelsen, either.

Yeah Valhalla Rising is amazing. Such an underrated film.

Automata - 8,5/10

It's kinda meh from a general filmmaking standpoint. Secondary characters and their acting aren't good.
But the overall story, ideas, art desing and music were FAN freaking TASTIC!
I felt so emotional, alive and free-spirited by the end...

It's not a great film for sure, but still thought-provoking and beautiful.

Jurassic World - 97/100

Now, before I get pillaged and hung, I'd like to explain; first off I have never fully seen Jurassic Park to it's entirety. I have always known of the film and have seen about 70% of it. So I won't be doing a comparison, and nostalgia won't be a factor like those hating against it.

My rating is based SOLELY as an entertainment score. This film easily right off the bat entertained the living **** out of me! I have to say it has some phenomenal action sequences, and some of the characters; while cliche, were fun and fantastic. So I will list my reasons why I only deducted 3 points off:

-The whole divorce sub-plot was unneeded and stupid to include on a story based on this.
-The blatant 3D scenes were too forced, and would have preferred more subtle ways like:
T-Rex ramming the fossils in the end.
-I wasn't looking too much into it; but the continuity error when the boys came off above the lake.

I have a HUGE crush on Bryce Dallas Howard, so I enjoyed her scenes, but she played the aunt role pretty well. I obviously think she could have been better, but she did what she was needed for in the film; so I'm all good.

Going in, I thought Pratt has become too much star power and wasn't a fan of him. Seeing him from a few episodes of Parks and Rec, I was eh. After finishing Parks and Rec, Guardians of the Galaxy, and now this: I think he is FAN-****ING-TASTIC! He plays the badass role well, and can be quite humorous. I heard the rumors of him being Indy and I was 'NO, NO, NO, ****ING NOOOO!!!'...Now I would easily vouch for this man as Indy. While again acting isn't Daniel Day-Lewis Lincoln, it gets the job done.

The boys in my opinion were eh. Didn't really care much, and after seeing the kid in Iron Man 3 (you can obviously tell I didn't bother to find out who he is), I wasn't interested. --However, they were quite nice to have to recreate scenes from the first one, and in a respectful homage of it's ancestor. The gyrosphere scene was too forced like the T-Rex and the Jeep in the Park, but things like the banner, nightvision, electric prod were quite nice.

Now back again, as a cinematic and critique standpoint, I can say this isn't a masterpiece. No it isn't without flaws, but going in I went in for a good movie, and it did not disappoint. I will most certainly be going again to see it in 3D, and I will probably be buying the anthology if they make it, or even solo.

Age of Ultron, Mad Max, Ex Machina, and this...easily one great summer. I'd even say the action in this topped the Godzilla fight last year (which I thought was amazing).

a drop of blood just ran out of my ear cause I actually agree with you on this one :lol

After this was over I was a little worried I shouldn't have watched it before Chappie.

I agree. When the boys started talking about that I was like "really? You had to squeeze that in there?" It literally added nothing to the movie other than that scene alone.

Oh god, yes that was so urgh. Like dude, raptors are chasing you and ****, and you want to talk about divorce?

The ONLY justification I could add was to cause an emotional response from Claire. To see them all hugging and crying at the end. And knowing Americans, they still went through with it. :lol
-Sucks to be Gray.

Young Frankenstein - 98/100

It's only 2 points from a perfect score because I have to be in the mood for Mel Brooks' humor to watch it. Other than that, when I'm in the mood to laugh, it's perfect.

It seems to have become a compulsory element in any Jurassic Park movie - kids and their parents/surrogate parents. Wish they'd leave it out for a change.

It's a Spielberg thing. Goes back to E.T. and possibly Close Encounters depending on how you want to interpret the boy's mom and then of course Dreyfuss choosing aliens over his wife and kids.
