Chappie - 2/10

Nice Zimmer's score and cool bots.
I hope this was the bottom of Blomkamp's writing and directing. It can't get any worse. It shall not...

What visuals? Cinematography was mediocre at best - boring cliche shots, derpy and pointless cuts, poor CGI.

Don't forget the most popular australian actor playing the angriest australian engineer while wearing the most australian clothing.
Yet it's not even funny or clever in any way...

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) - 78/100

Creepy, intense, keeps you on the edge of your seat with the chase scenes. Less disgusting than the remake, which was nice IMO. I always prefer older horror films to newer ones for the overall dated feel, if nothing else.

I agree with you, I actually loved the movie, it has a lot of heart and personality, I liked all the protagonists, I hated them at first but ended up liking them, but there's no denying the movie is seriously overflowing with flaws on every level, I'd give it a 4/10, I also agree the cinematography was below mediocre.

Yet, despite all its problems, it still made me laugh, it made me interested in the story and characters, it gave me feels. Imo it's a very good very bad movie :lol

It's wrong to believe in thetans but ok to believe in a invisible man in the sky.
