7.5/10 Chappie
Not as good as District 9 but much better than Elysium(crap). Very quirky AI movie but quite entertaining and funny.

8.5/10 Kingsman: The Secret Service
Held off watching this thinking it was another typical spy/action movie. Glad I watched it, totally NOT what I was expecting.

9/10 Jurassic World
Had the same feeling as I did when I watched Jurassic Park back in 1993. <3 Nostalgia

Inside Out - 10/10

A return to form for Pixar. I don't cry during movies but dang it I certainly came close a few times during this one!

Terminator 2: Judgment Day - 8.5/10

The older I get, the less I like it.

Birdman - 6.5/10

I get the feeling I didn't 'get' a lot of it, and that it was a movie for insiders. I'll have to watch it again and maybe read up on it - if I could be bothered.

I liked the characters, the performances, the sets - but the too-clever camera got a bit tiresome in parts.

Maybe it's just taste, I loved the movie personally and the camera manoeuvring was one of the best parts of the film for me. The movies also got quite a lot of dark comedy in it, and if that's not your thing then it might fail on that front.

Maybe it will click with a second viewing, the best thing to do is just let it take you on a ride - that's the purpose of the camera work - no loss of tension :)

Terminator - 9/10
T2: Judgement day - 10/10

I love Terminator but I love T2 even more, not only it's an improvement in every aspect from the original, it's infinitely more charged with meaning and themes too, I love how it explains the origins of AI in such a dark, foreshadowing way, I love how it also explores humanity and human nature itself, for that alone it's more important and heavier than the first one, and overall, I think the 90's suits this franchise a little better than the 80's, at least for the "present" time parts.

Because T2 said everything there is to be said about human nature and fate so eloquently, for me, it ends with this one, the rest (TV show included) are purposeless shallow cash grabs and should've never been made, perhaps T3 gets a pass because it was still honest, if not a little redundant.
