Have you seen that 'The McPherson Incident' or whatever it's called?

Similar premise (found footage) - except it's a family Xmas dinner that gets interrupted by a UFO landing in a nearby forest.

It's so lo-fi it hurts. :lol

No I haven't, [emoji38] so I should avoid that one too?

Are there any good paranormal movies with aliens and abductions and stuff? Or should I just rewatch Xfiles? [emoji38]

It's worth a watch, yeah. :lol

I think it was one of those straight to VHS / DVD deals, & I think it came out around 1998. It's like a really earnest student film, complete with poor actors. The story is actually kinda cool; a slightly disfunctional family, getting together for their token yearly catch up, then as they're arguing about something trivial.. there's a huge flash of light outside. Bad weather clouds their view of what it might be, but.. the men go outside to.. investigate. :lol

There's a fallen craft, some activity around it, & things escalate - quickly. To be fair, there's actually the odd genuinely creepy moment or two in the movie, so it's not completely bad.

Mhm color me intrigued, I will watch it next time I crave something paranormal, thanks!

I haven't seen that previous one, but it's probably worse. :lol

If you haven't already, you should check out 'Fire In The Sky' from 1993 - ****ing awesome film.

It gets it's share of negativity, but those concerned can blow it out their *ss.

:lol not I haven't see that one either, it's a cool title, I'm adding it to the list, this week I've been watching and reading a lot of paranormal **** so that will come in handy :duff

FYI: Fire In the Sky was based on an apparently true story, & Robert Patrick plays one of the main cast.

Also, not many films can boast this, but it has one of THE most genuinely frightening abduction sequences in film history.

Nah, all in all it's a bad and pointless film.
I give it 2/10 because some concept and characters were good + 1,5/10 for several cool FX.

Transformers: Age of Extinction

I swear to God, I had more fun cleaning toilets than watching this.

0/5.

Totally agree. The "peak" of stupidly long, poorly acted, cgi fests.

It was one bloated action sequence after another. I was totally numb by the middle of the movie, begging it to end.

:lol and it made a billion dollars. Sickening.

No way. Seriously? People can't be that stupid.

Anyway, I won't be watching these movies if they make more, I quit. F-you Michael Bay.
