Nice meme ^^^ I just read why many fantastic foreign movies get bad remakes and will continue to do so right there, thank you for that.

The original is regarded as superior by most, not some, some like the remake better, I'm not unwilling to accept remakes, like I said, I liked the "remake" of Dragon Tattoo Girl better, I also think if they combined the original Carrie with the remake it would be a perfect adaptation... But Let the right one in is superior in this case, and the changes were little bit bigger than just little, mostly details, but details of importance that add identity to the story.

Fair enough, you should read the book if you haven't already, it's, well, better or at the very least very complementary without over explaining things.

Also, there's is sequel book called Let the old dreams die, I have it but it's been collecting dust for ages, I have to get around to read it.

Personally, I don't need a sequel movie.

Cool GasperZizou i still need to watch Oldboy original loved that remake and enjoy a decent vampire book or story. I have read The knights of blood book a couple time's about ww2 nazi Vamps and if enjoy Vampires might like What we do in the shadows movie very funny IMO. Anyway time 4 dinner or blood. ha ha

Haven't watched the Oldboy remake but the original is ****ing great, I loved What we do in the shadows, best mocumentary I can think of.

I just read a synopsis for Knights of the Blood, sounds interesting, I'll check it out, thanks!

I really enjoyed "Let Me In", but I heard "Let the Right One In" is amazing! I always check out the original of a movie that I like (after finding out it was a re-make), since they're usually much better. Scareface is the big exception that I can think of.

How did you guys feel about Scorsese's "Cape Fear" re-make? Scorsese is my favorite director after Hitchcock, but I think he went too over the top with that one.

Justice League: Gods and Monsters-7.5/10

Really good. The best DC animated film since they started integrating the nu-52 junk. A very interesting take on these characters, particularly Batman.

The Judge Robert Duvall ,Robert Downey jr. A lot of great Cast along wth Billy bob Thorton all can say this movie is very deep n good. Robert Duvall n Downey do a very good job on doing what they do. A hi price lawyer come's home 4 a funeral to deal with a broken ties of old famiily and things get complicated 4 Downey before leaving that's all c an say with out spoiling enjoyed very much give it a 7.

1 more Robert Duvall movie with James Franco i watched a while back called WILD Horses alsi highly recommend n give a 7. also

Then Movie Jessabelle started o.k but just got worse by every scene . Just skip this horror movie it's bad.

Yep, at some parts I was hysterical.
But the 1:00 to 1:19 part felt like a stupid reality show instead of mockumantary and I got very bored...

Nice Essay ^^^ but i still like the American version better because i am American and use to my American actors that i'm use to seeing. I can see why some may like original either because they relate to the Foreign version better or just unwilling to except the new version. I couldnt watch original all the way through and like said it's same damn film with little changes like name's changed on character's not here to argue just stated loved the movie n story. I would love a sequel ,we dont get too many perfect Vampire films and story's. No need to argue which is better it's all good just give us more blood.

What I said wasn't a knock on America, but I found it a poor excuse not to watch foreign films. I'm Canadian so if I wait around to watch a good Canadian film, I'll wait a while. Ok, I know I know, same language, but it's still a poor excuse.
