It's actually really damn entertaining.

Bon voyage!
I've seen it on a big screen back there in 2002, liked it and re-watchin' from time to time.
Watched it last night - pretty cool!

I thought the start was rushed, but I guess it's not exactly a slow burning oscar contender so they've gotta get that plot moving. :lol

That aside, I thought they approached the post apocalyptic type vibe really well. Bale & Macca were exellent (nice to hear Bale use his own accent), & the sets & CG were great in all honesty. Some 'on the ground' scenes reminded me of the future war scenes from T1.. man, let's leave that one alone. :( :lol

Loved the dragon design too. I watched all the bonus material as well, & loved how they used the attributes of several animals to bring the dragon to life. Also the use & management of REAL FIRE on set for most of what we see was impressive to say the least, & so refreshing in today's era of computer movies.

7.8 / 10. :duff

Hateful Eight: 6.7/10

It was a great movie if you love tension and buildup, and the dialogue, as always with Tarantino, was good. But it feels like one of his lesser movies on first watch. If not the least of his movies. The climax didn't progress in a way that felt right, and so I didn't feel very fulfilled walking away. But it's still good and worth seeing, as long as you don't mind ultra-violence and extreme sadism.

The Force Awakens: 3/10

Predictable and boring. The actor and actress who played Fin and Rey were terrible.

It was good to see Han Solo, Luke, Chewbacca, C-3Po and R2 again.

People say the PTs were bad (I enjoyed those).

That's a bit harsh. I've only seen it once, & sure there's stuff I didn't like about it, but there was way more to like than not.

I've heard this (haven't seen it yet). Tarantino hasn't made an excellent film in a long time. Plenty of good ones, but by his own standards, and our expectations, it seems he's in a prolonged funk.

Bone Tomahawk - 7/10

I wasn't expecting much from this one, but it was filled with witty dialog, and likable main characters in a rather simplistic rescue plot. There were some good action scenes, too, with lots of tension and one unfortunate gore scene that I didn't need to see :yuck. This is perhaps, one of the best movies with Kurt Russell that I've seen. Highly recommended, although the ending did leave me a bit unsatisfied.

Black Sails Season 2 - 7.5/10 This show did not drop off one bit. The finale was some of the best story telling i have seen in a long time.

Friends The entire series. - 7/10 Wife got me hooked on this and after 5 months, i finally finished it. Now I understand why so many people loved this show. Funny and entertaining. Great characters and a lot of heart.

Prometheus 3D - 8/10 Loads of LFE, excellent picture and audio. The main character actress annoys me for some reason.
