All the twists were fun, and the movie overall had a great sense of humor to it.

I love that movie too, one of my favorite sci-fis!


The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou: 8/10 The strange, typical Wes Anderson humor in this film is great. Hadn't seen it in a while so it was awesome watching it again

Last House on the Left - 7/10

Race to witch Mountain- 8/10 good fun flick

Changling - 8/10 was better then expected, though the ending felt rushed.

Aliens - 10/10

Whedon is great. Watch Angel, or Dollhouse, or Firefly - all brilliant shows. I haven't watched Buffy yet, but I plan to. His biggest talent is writing believable characters, and creating a world where he sets the rules, and doesn't break them when it is convenient to him. As a result, he can pretty throw anything at you, and you will find that it works.

And Aliens rocks!!

It was Alien Resurrection that put me off the guy to be honest and sitting through Buffy sealed the deal. No problem with anyone else liking him, just not a fan of his style is all.

Everything after that is quite different actually. I haven't got around to watching Buffy since it just looks cheesy. But everything else is outstanding. True though, his style isn't for everyone.

I am not going to go there.I did not read anything about Watchmen ever so, i can't really say it was some what patriotic at times, atleast until i have read the story.It was a great movie though, no doubt.

Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (1931) - since it's regarded as a classic I will not bother rating it, but I thought it was OK. The camera work though very advance considering when it was made.

The Asphalt Jungle 5/5 Sterling Hayden and Sam Jaffe are dynamite

Inglorious Basterds - 5/5 Being disappointed with his last couple of QT flicks, this one hit the spot. Great film making.

District 9 - 3/5 Pretty good. Raises plenty of questions (not only regarding the story, but also the films influences (apartheid, post-apartheid, the real District 6, the Sharpeville Massacre etc.). Oh, and the leader of the Nigerian gangsters was hilarious!
