Inglourious Basterds 8.6/10

Truly stunning writing and directing by the master of film, Quentin Tarantino. Reservoir Dogs is my favorite Tarantino film, but 'Basterds' will stand toe to toe with this gem in my DVD collection(or Bluray for that matter) when it's released.

But the thing that struck most people such as my mother(who is German) with amazement, is that Quentin went all out with the authenticity of the German actors, accents, and filming locations. Which is something you don't see in alot of films. What's even funnier is a written scene where Quentin pokes fun of the American actors trying to execute a German accent with an improper dialect. He is a prime example of talent when it comes to making films, and he's a genius for someone who didn't even finish high school. No doubt about it, can't wait to see his next film!

Mulholland Drive: 8/10 Great, mysterious film!

Dumb & Dumber: 7.5/10 One of my favorite comedies, when I was younger. I hadn't watched it in at least 3 years because I saw it a bit too often back then. Had a great laugh this afternoon :lol

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory: 8/10 Great Tim Burton movie!

I have seen Lost Highway too, although a couple of years ago. I remember liking the film, but I like Mulholland Drive better.

I've also seen Blue Velvet which I thought was good. And I really enjoyed The Elephant Man, but that isn't like Lynch's usual mysterious, strange works.

I have seen all of Lynch`s movies except Elephant Man,i simply love his mysterious creepy atmosphere style,it really catches the viewers attention, always keeps the viewer wondering.

Seen Twin Peaks? That is my all time favourite Tv Series, the movie "Twin peaks-Fire Walk with me" is also very good, same characters only before the events in the Tv Series.

:rock Season 2 wasn't quite as good, though it certainly heats up towards the end; but I am glad you enjoy the show! :rock

10/10 - really great mixture of humour and dark themes. Hadn't seen it before but would definitely watch it again

I heard that this movie offended some of my fellow North Dakotans. But I completely saw the humor in it. I think I found this movie to be funnier than any other person that I have heard of so far. I almost had tears coming out of my eyes for the lampooning of North Dakotans.

Bram Stoker's Darcula 8/10

You know this is the first time I've ever saw the whole movie from beginning to end. While I don't know much about Dracula or vampires in gereral, I thought this was a very good film. The entire cast was great, even Keanu Reeves but the films shining star was of course Gary Oldman. Even the great Sir Anthony Hopkins couldn't take away from Oldman's performance. Great film and one of Oldman's best performances imho.

I think both Oldman and Hopkins were the only good things about this film. I would give it a 6/10 myself. I couldn't get past Ryder and Reeves horrid accents. Still it was a decent film ............ just nothing special.

Inglourious Basterds - 8/10 - This movie kicked ass. Nice story and great period sets and designs. Christoph Waltz's as Col Hans is the best performance I've seen this year, he made the movie.

Righteous Kill - 5/10 - Decent flick, you saw the twist coming a mile away.

I can see why some of the natives would've been offended, but it was never in a malicious way I thought. Plus at the end of the day they're the good guys (Except for one of them :lol). It's not like being English and watching Braveheart which is racist and we get to be the bad guys too :lol
