Such a disappointment. Maybe A24 films just aren't for me...I really want to like them though.

Did have some good points. Great acting, set design, and costuming. The cinematography was off the chain in this film as well. Purposely changed aspect ratios when filming to make the trees look much taller on screen. Great use of a camera!

Plot and characters were so bad though (especially our main protagonist). Pacing was ice age slow and made a boring film even duller. Sound design wasn't anything to write home about either. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either.

I see that Roland Emmerich just committed suicide this afternoon because ID4 Resurgence was just ONE ticket shy of where he wanted it be be by this date. Falling just one ticket short was apparently too painful of a blow. I hope you're happy you waited. Some ID4 superfan you are...

The film I fully last I watched ghostbusters 2016, it gets a 2/10, a classic case of a cash in remake. The reviews boggles my mind, yet people give ghostbusters 2 a hard time

only downside is abe and the fire chick don't have a chance to show off the action abilities (although abe gets one cool action sequence which is filmed superbly)

Golden Army is definitely an overlooked comic book movie when people are making their top lists. 9/10 is still too high a score though, IMO.

MARAUDERS. A Very cool bank robbery movie with a lot of twists, give a 7.

I am Chris Farley a very cool documentary if loved Farley then will enjoy getting to know his story ,gone waaay too soon.

ID Resurgence - 6.5/10 Slightly better than I thought it'd be.

Not as well made as TFA, but more original for sure, what TFA had in pacing and structure (because they were following a blueprint), IDR lacked, but what TFA lacked in originality, IDR had.

At some times it reached like an 8/10, but it has sooooo much unnecessary **** and characters that dragged this movie down, but the hype moments were hype, and the hype for the sequel is real for me, I hope they make it.

GREEN ROOM. ANTON YELCHIN & Patrick Stewart. Anton shows how good actor again n again and makes me mad we lost him way too soon. I give this one a 10 for him ,just a crazy damn day for Rock band that go's from bad to FUBARRED.

Predator 2 was actually good, not perfect but we learn more about how the hunters work, more about their backstory etc, it adds to the series. Now ghostbusters, that was a man hating movie I felt.

10 Cloverfield Lane: 6.5/10

Pretty good. I knew there was some kind of twist, but the way it all unfurled was very engaging. There were definitely surprises along the way. Mary Elizabeth Winstead was great! And so was John Goodman and the other guy.

I was half jokingly thinking that the movie could evolve to the Thing remake with Winstead!

I think the whole Cloverfield world is very original in the way it links together and how different they are in plot and story, and I'm game to seeing a third movie.
