Anyone care to venture a comparison review of BvsS and BvsS Extended..... dunno if I wanna see it again...if the extended is better I'll take another shot at it....

Chappie 7.0/10

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - 8/10

Still love this underappreciated film.
It has it's flaws but the good outweighs the meh.
One of the best music scores by Harry Gregson-Williams, I can listen to it... forever.

DAWN of the PLANET of the APES -- 7.5 / 10

Second viewing.

First time, it left me feeling kinda meh; possibly because 99% of the film is made up of CGI, & a lot of the time the characters look weightless & don't look 'present'. However, second time around the film grew on me. I like Jason Clarke in this (I've struck T-5 entirely from my memory as a matter of principle), Gary Oldman was great as Jim Gordon mk.II, & I'm always a fan of Kerri Russell. The Caesar / Koba dynamic was nicely done, & to be fair - a lot of the time the digital apes looked great. Maurice - love that guy!! :lol

The end got a little video game-y, with all the commotion & jumping around business during the big human / ape confrontation. Still, a solid film, & as a long time fan of this series, I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment. :rock

Warcraft - 8/10. I loved it.

BvS Dawn of Justice Ultimate Cut - 6/10. I liked it. I didnt see the theatrical cut so there was no bad taste in my mouth before watching. Batman was great, Lex and Lois were lame, Superman was...Superman.

Midnight Special - 4/10. Great first half that went nowhere.

Deliverance - 10/10. Holy ****.

Because I've recently found out that I almost always enjoy my second viewing more than the first, I have quite a few recent movies I'd like to watch again. Maybe tonight we'll watch Star Wars TFA awakens again.

Yup.....I actually almost like 3 more than the original.....the original wins simply cause it WAS original!

My thoughts exactly! I was surprised by how good 3 was. It's a great flick.

Josh Brolin was brilliant as a young Agent K, it was uncanny on how similar he was to Tommy Lee Jones.

The Brothers Grimsby....6/10...a couple of laughs...some wacky sick Cohen sheet on screen...good cast...I still think of Mark Strong as Red Mist's dad lol..Strange role for him it was for a few scenes

Children of Men - 92/100. Clive Owen as a reluctant, Everyman hero is a good thing.

The Intern - 74/100. Kind of jarring to see DeNiro as an ass-kisser instead of as an ass-kicker but I liked it. :lol

So finally watched new ghostbusters and yea. I wish Mcarthy wasnt involved in this one. I liked Kristen Wig and Kate McKinnon best suited new cast and didnt mind Leslie Jones. The things that really bothered me was..
Why the Hell can the old damn cast be in it besides EGON of course for Just CAMEO'S.:gah: WHY not just continue what was all perfect instead of rebooting is what irked me.:gah: they could've just like hired new retired old cast if wanted. i'll never understand hollywood writers

Too much CGI and story pretty rushed imo. I LOL at Helmsworth role. I just i know i'm bias and wish it all went differnt and was old with new instead of rebooting. I 'll give no rating to it but do expect it on dvd pretty fast.

Well, I get loving the movie but a 10? (Insert "not sure if serious" meme here).

That depends on what mood I'm watching it in. If I'm in my hardcore DC fan mode I'll give it a 10, but if I'm just watching it because I have nothing better to do at the moment, it's an 8.

Oh and, ALPHA DOG 8-9/10
