Wonder Woman 8/10

Overall I really enjoyed it. This is the best origin CBM in a while, IMO. Gadot was very charming. I will write up a review in the WW thread. The best entry yet in the DCEU.

I know many folks detest this film, but I like it.
It was fun. It was cute. I like Russell Crowe. Ryan Gosling
was good in the movie, as well.

Wonder Woman - 7/10. I thought it was good not great. I still like Man of Steel and Batman V Superman more.

Because it's like you see one you've seen them all. You don't even know which film you're watching anymore with all the appearances of all the Avengers cast in every movie.

So you're dismissing Logan and making an opinion of it without even seeing it ?

Well, yeah, tho wouldn't call that "dismissing". It's making a choice based on pieces of information, trailers, and commentary as well as flat out spoilers that I ran into. E.g. at this point in time, based on available info, does this sound like a movie I want to make an effort to see? For me no. I may change my mind down the road.

And at the moment I don't have to answer to other reasons folks may watch films:

1) My boyfriend/girlfriend/friend/dog/family wants to watch it and I am doing quality time with him/her/them;
2) "Everyone" has seen it and don't wanna be the loser that didn't;
3) I'm a comic fanatic who has seen every comic book movie ever made including the ones that majorly suck like Catwoman;
4) I'm a Hugh Jackman fan and think he's hot;
5) I'm a Patrick Stewart fan and think he's hot;
6) I'm bored and it's a choice between this and the barbecue pitmasters competition on TV.

So, yeah, why does anyone choose to watch anything?

Logan 9/10 The standard of how brutally Wolverine should be adapted on screen. Bigget regret with Wolverine is we will never get a proper Weapon X scene, lets face it there would be gallons of blood spilled when he first woke up.

Alien Covenant 7/10 I hated it and liked it at the same time. I have so many questions still from Prometheus, this movie seemed to either provide vague answers or raise new questions. That said, I think Fassbenders role is amazing and am still genuinely interested, kinda feel like I have been conned into the story and may never get answers.

I honestly have no idea. Only seen this movie once, years ago, on a TV channel. Most likely USB version... it was ok but not something to write home about. I'll check The Final Cut out then, thanks.

Kidnapped Halle Berry is bad ass on her game in this one give a 7.

Wonder Woman give it a strong 9 very well done.

All around weak acting from Gal Gadot and weaker action, but everything else was good, humor was natural, some jokes didn't land, supporting characters were good, David Thewlis and Chris Pine were my favorites.

No, it's not better than BvS, not by a long shot, not in story, not in cinematography, not in action, not in score, nothing, nada, it's more feelgood, which some, less discerning, may have confused with better quality, it isn't.

I'd say this is a CA:TFA in WWI, no better and no worse really, maybe a bit more substance than CA.

WoW couldnt disagree more but agree to disagree loved it sorry all good.

Beauty and the Beast - 6.5/10. Weirdly i like the animated one better. Some good moments/performances but IMO dragged in places and still felt like I was watching Harry Potter.

The actor who was chose for Aries felt completely wrong imo sorry.

I kinda hated bats vs supes the movie felt way too forced imo. Wonder woman flowed pretty damn good imo not once did i look at how much longer is this ??? like w/ bats vs supes. I feel like Wonder woman is so much more rewatchable then B. vs S. and bats supes was just so hyped up it let me down a lot. Wonder woman just felt natural and done well. Anyway bring on Spidey n Thor next.

Excellent movie. I seem to become more fond of it with each viewing.
You have to wonder how you would react if it were you, reliving the same
day... over and over and over...

Harry Potter - all 8 movies.

They're showing them again on cable tv.

They're all great films. I told a friend back in 2000 that I wasn't interested in the books
or the first movie, which had come out around that time. I thought it was about some kid who
could pull a rabbit out of a hat, or some **** like that.

My friend kept telling me I would love the movies and the books.

I accidentally saw Chamber Of Secrets on HBO in 2004 or so. Loved it!
Bought it and the first movie on VHS, and started reading the books, which are fantastic.
I have all 8 movies and all 7 books, as well.
