The hell CGI is abysmal, and the movie doesn't really explain Spawn's powers and limitations. I liked the clown though.

I consider Memento and Insomnia to be in Nolan's Top 3 along with BB. Then TDK and The Prestige.

Plus most characters are memorable, even the minor ones.
I just wish it wasn't so silly most of the time. Villains look great and nicely written but the actin's just way too OTT. Same goes to most of them cop characters.

I think the only Nolan film I didn't enjoy was Insomnia. I had high hopes for it, so maybe expectations were too high. Just realized, I've actually seen everyone of his movies in the theater, guess I'll have to see Dunkirk now too.

Was it dumb? Yes, yes it was.

Was it Fun? Absolutely.

I don't know exactly why I enjoyed this movie, but I did. I can be pretty critical at times when things don't make sense in a film, but I have no idea why I give certain other films a pass, like this one.

I'd even like to buy the 3D version, but not for the prices I see currently.
