I was about to say. Howling is terrific!
Mmm... it didn't age well.
I love Dante but this was one movie that could be so much better without humorous undertones.

But of course, An American Werewolf in London is the gold standard of all werewolf films.
Which is funny because half of it feels almost like parody.
Then again, that's why it's a great film. :)

Monster Squad
Now THAT is pure shameless nostalgia talkin'! :D

I thought dog soldiers was mediocre, though there was a fair amount of hype around it when it first came out.
It is what it is - British PREDATOR with werewolfs.
And it's awesome. :rock

Sleepy Hollow - 7.5/10

Nice! Pretty much the same here. :duff
Still enjoyable and like the way Walken portrayed the Horseman.
But I absolutely love the cinematography. The locations and the composition of the shots give a lot of that eerie ambience that I love seeing in horror movies.

Friday the 13th part 5: A New Beginning: 7.5/10

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the previous time I watched it. Put aside the big factor differentiating this film from the others, and it Stacks up very well with the other Friday the 13th films. And in fact, it's a nice detour with the storyline as a whole as I look at it with a bit more perspective now.
