The Terminator - 8/10

Terminator 2: Judgment Day - 7/10

I know it's a great action movie and one of the best sequels of all time, but while I love the imagery (and am still waiting on a 1/4 T1 Arnold from Hot Toys), I can't emotionally connect to this franchise as much as others. T2 is a marvel to look at, I just don't feel anything beyond basic visual stimulation when watching. It would be an 8 otherwise.

T1 is slightly better in this regard, which leads me to believe my issue with T2 could be due to Furlong's acting or Cameron's tendency to crowd-please. T1 also has the better atmosphere IMO.

You would think Rian Johnson had wiped his rear with pages from the bible or something with the kind of virulent responses out there.
Well, that's exactly what he did if you're an actual Star Wars fan.

Then again, it's not like TFA wasn't a crappy soft reboot.
People should have known better.

So you're saying you know now why we cry at the end of T2, but it's something you can never do.

War for the Planet of the Apes: 7/10

It was good but I think I liked the other 2 a little better. I will say that "Bad Ape" was amazing. I think he nailed being a chimp better than everyone else. It was mesmerizing to watch.

The Killing of A Sacred Deer: 10/10

An amazing visceral experience. Absolutely horrifying and hysterical all at the same time. Just an insane rollercoaster. Please let me know what you had to think about it !

Ghost in the Shell (2017) - 6.5/10

First time watching it since the theater. Honestly it's a pretty boring flick (despite the pretty visuals and periodic outbursts of action) but I still found myself liking it overall.
