Doctor Strange (2016)- 8 out of 10 Overall a good adaption of the comic that captures the origin and personality of Strange and tries it's best with music and effects to capture the psychedelic inspiration of the comics, but the comedy feels out of place. I would've been happier if they cut most of the comedy out of this and made it more serious in tone.

Daredevil

Excellent movie.. I don't know why a sequel never happened.
I like Ben Affleck a lot better as Daredevil than as Batman.

Tremors

The best of the series. It was one of the first movies I saw
after I got cable tv in 1992 at The Farm where I lived many years ago.
I still love this movie. The one where they were in the old west was good, too.
I like the others, just not as much.

Miss Peregrine's School For Peculiar Children

I like this movie a lot. It's fun. There's a great action scene towards the end.
It's also as close as we'll ever get to a Legion Of Substitute Heroes movie or a
Legion Of Super Heroes movie..

After the Vampires - 6 out of 10

I use to love when the Vampires showed up but the stuff has not aged well. Effects are fine but the directing / editing is a bit amateurish. Its still fun but nowhere near as good as the first 45 min which is just about perfect.

Funny, I used to like when the vampires showed up but I wonder what I'd think now. It was fun to watch in the theater but I probably haven't watched it in at least a decade.

That movie was always strange to me. It’s like the first and second half are two different movies.

Strangers prey at night again. 8/10
-Seemingly average until some great scenes come into play, seriously beg horror movie fans to see this in the theaters.

The first one.. it's great. T-2 is my favorite, and this one is
excellent, as well. I do use some lines from it to this day.

Aliens

Another great Cameron film.
"Did IQ's drop sharply while I was away?"

Lance Henrikson and Bill Paxton were in both movies.
Bill Paxton was also in Titanic.

Paul Winfield was in T-1 and Star Trek 2: The Wrath Of Khan.

Michael Biehn was in T-1 and Aliens.
Jenette Goldstein was in T-2 and Titanic.

Sigourney Weaver was in Aliens and Avatar.

Really well done film. I didn't realize it was a black comedy as much as a drama going in. Rockwell and McDormand were excellent, and deserved accolades. Nice that something lacking pretentiousness got so much attention at the Oscars.

Starman

A favorite of mine - I saw it in the theater back in 1984.
Some great lines to use from this film.
I consider this movie the unofficial remake of the 1951
movie, "The Day The Earth Stood Still", not the Keanu Reeves
crapfest.

Unsane 9/10

- exactly what trailer sells it as, a schlocky modern day depalma psychological thriller. Absolutely intense from the first five minutes until the last second. Loved the hell out of it. Being a victim of stalking myself it was horrifyingly accurate and made my skin crawl. All filmed on an iPhone as well. I beg genre fans to see this with a crowd.

Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle: 6.5/10

It was ok. Not as good as I was expecting based on how well it did in the BO. The actors did a fun job portraying kids inside those bodies. I never liked the original so this was a step up for me.
