Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - BUT THEY'RE ALIVE THO JUST LIKE MEEEE/10

The first one looks like a masterpiece compared to this. The plot is basic, stupid and cringy. They really want you to care, they really do but their attemps are not effective at all. Rexy was reduced to a poser and Blue is the main dino by far, I'm fine with that but they're no longer believable as dinosaurs. They're more like giant magical creatures that help people when they are most needed, I wouldn't be surprised if they start talking in the next movie.

Oh and the best scene was in one of the tv spots:

Yawn fest, however I do think I will enjoy more at home on blu ray with repeat viewings. I seem to enjoy movies more after repeating viewings. Maybe I appreciate scene to scene rather than the big picture with the initial viewing.

Jurassic Park : Fallen Kingdom 5/10, as a summer popcorn blockbuster 7/10

Some of it was well done, the gothic look of the rooftop chase felt very Hammer Horror to me.

So observations did you all notice this?
There were MANY scenes that were shot that literally mimicked camera angles and motions from the original film.

Two come to mind right away. The scene where Mazy is catching her breath and then woke up and told to run, is exactly what Lex does in JP1

Also the dumb waiter scene where she is pulling down the door, another parallel to Lex doing the exact same thing in the kitchen.

Also the scene where the hid behind the log, thats the same damn log Grant and the kids hid behind....

Theres alot more of this in the film as well...

And did anyone else get a Raiders feel from some of the fight/chase scenes?

Harry Potter & the Chamber Of Secrets
Excellent. The second Harry Potter movie.
It has a very happy ending, same as the first movie
did. The movies, as well as the books, would take on a much
darker tone as the series progressed.

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

Darker movie. Excellent, again. No Voldemort, but you
learn more about the characters in Harry's past.
