The Village (2004) -6/10

We watched this because it was directed by M. Night Shyamalan.. It was kinda disappointing, compared to his other movies. :dunno

I actually think that The Village is M. Night's best... Definitely my favorite of his movies so far :)

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Maybe I was just expecting a scary movie, that's why I got disappointed.. I like the story, though, it's very unique and creatively-done.. That's why I gave it a 6/10 instead of a failing 4 and below! :wave

Nightmare on elm street 2010 7/10

I enjoyed this one even though i've mainly only read bad things. There was only 4 other people in so no one to piss me off. :rock

I am like this with a lot of films. Best example; The Dark Knight. Was blown away the first IMAX screening, but the second a couple days later was much more enjoyable.

Almost like there was too much to take in the first time, more relaxed after one viewing.

Glad to hear you loved it bud, only just over a week until I can see it!!!! :panic:

Oh yeah I see! The Village isn't really scary. It has maybe one or 2 moments that could startle you a bit, but that's it.
The story is very creative indeed! :)

Awesome! Hope you'll like it even better then too!! :rock :D

Thanks, dude!! :rock :duff

I have had it quite often too that I liked films better the second time I saw them.
One of my best examples is Hot Fuzz. I really didn't like the ending when I first saw the movie. I thought it was totally out of style from the rest of it.
But seeing it the second time and knowing it was there I started to enjoy it more. Now I think Hot Fuzz is absolutely brilliant. I like it more than Shaun Of The Dead.

Up In the Air: 9/10
Great movie... didn't know what to expect, but loved what I saw. Bit on the depressing side though.

Iron Man 2: 4/10

I think they named the movie Iron Man 2 cuz it sucked twice as much balls than the first one.

What an epic let down.

Pros:
1. Graphics
2. Performances ( Mickey Rourkes character was kinda lame tho)
3. Last 15 minutes of the movie (minus bonus scene)

Cons:
1. The story had too much going on and it was way to chaotic
2. Whiplash was cheesey instead of intimidating
3. There where only about 3 action sequences in the whole f'n movie
4. The soundtrack was horrible
5. Cinematography was amateurish ( did anyone else notice that SW edit slide )
6. And the $2 prop that comes after the credits.

All in all.... I didn't like the first one and I definetly didn't like this one.

Jon Favre should stick to directing Couples Retreat 2 and leave Iron Man to the big dawgs... btw...WhyTF does he always feel the need to act in his movies???

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I really loved design of the Drones tho.
