Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

This is true but didn't explain why they made a ton of them ............ all in theatres too nonetheless. I agree though, part 1 (as twisted as the story was) was a good film. After that? Blah.

Same reason there are two dozen Freddy Krueger, Friday the 13th, and Halloween movies -- because at one point they still drew in crowds to theaters.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I still believe Saw 3 is one of the top 4 worst movies ever made. Watching that movie was just a chore. It was disgusting for no reason, bad characters, story, ending, acting, events, deaths, everything. Hate it so much.

I can say the same thing about Saw 5,that is without a doubt the worst of them all imo.

The first 2 were really good IMO, but after that they were doing nothing but just pumping them out every year to get as much $$ before people got tired of them. I might go and buy a Saw boxed set in Blu if they ever stop making them, but that's just because I'm a completionist with movies/TV series.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

2012 - 5.5/10 - Well, John Cussak didn't save the world, but he did save a Ark, that if his group would not have snuck onto, would have had zero problems. Anyway, ok movie. Horrible FX though, especially the cars flipping and falling out of the plane . .

The Box - 6.5 - Thought it was decent. Was nothing like I was expecting going into it. Lots of unanswered questions though.

Shrek Forever After - 3/10 - Man, what a terrible movie. This should have been direct to video stuff. The previous movies were not great, but they at least had some zing to them. This one is flat. Puss and the Gingerbread Man are the only ones that had amusing parts. Was a paycheck movie by the top 3 "actors".

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Performance 8/10, still a solid movie, not as good as I remember it, but solid nonetheless, James Fox is brilliant in it, and Jagger holds his own!

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Memento - 9/10, great flick that i have had in my DVD collection for ages since i picked it up for £1 in a sale. i like twisty plots and this one has its fair share of turns.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

The Dark Knight - 9.5/10 Just awesome. Would have liked to have seen Katie reprise her role though.

Yeah baby !!!! :rock

Daybreakers 5/10

So much potential lost to a crappy rush job and half ass writing.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Okay so I been watching a few films lately, here we go:

Avatar 9/10 - Loved it, great story, FX and actors. All round good film.

Die hard 2 - 7/10, not as good as original and I prefer 3 to this one but a good film to watch.

Knowing (I think it was called that anyway, pedicted disasters film) - Oh my goodness, thats and hour and half I've never getting back :banghead and what a rediculous ending :dunno

The Lost Boys - 9/10, terrific film, a classic.

FOTR - 10/10 As always, although it was wierd watching the Theatrical Edition but it's still an incredible film :rock

Finding Nemo - 9/10, LOVE this film!, I just wish it were a little longer.

Jurassic Park - 10/10, Love it, love it, love it!.

2012 - 5/10 Was really disapointed by this.

Gorillas in the Mist - 8/10 Always a great film to watch :rock

Just my opinions.
x :peace

Robin Hood: 9/10
I really enjoyed this film! I thought it was great! A good story and characters; I really liked the interaction between Robin, Little John, Alan A'Dale and Will Scarlett for instance. Mark Strong was great as usual and the music was very good too! Definitely another great Scott/Crowe collaboration!!! :rock :rock :rock

The Dark Knight: 10/10

Iron Man: 9/10

Burn After Reading: 9/10

Really, that bad... and even worse than 3?!? :panic:

I was planning on seeing it this week, maybe I'll see something else instead.

Are you kidding me? The movie was brilliant! All the vampire traits were incorporated seemlessly in this world. One of the best futuristic films in recent memory.

Not kidding....

Yes I understand... but that is also why I gave it 5/10. LOL.

Yes the eyes at night were neat.... all the little things were great... but the big things... way too rushed, and his angst over the humans was never substantiated fully...

I felt nothing for the characters.
