Scary Movie 3 - 7/10 predictable but so much mor entertaining than these modern day remakes that just copy shot for shot with added 'joke'. Charlie Sheen does a good job and made it feel almost like a spiritual brother to the Hot Shot films which were awesome!
Wall Street: 9/10 great film with Douglas and Sheen on form,but by god the 80's were ugly!

Robin Hood - 6/10
pretty disappointed with this one. ridley scott just politicized the crap out of a story that's supposed to be a fun myth with vague political motivations. kinda sucked all the energy out of it IMO. it flowed pretty badly and wasn't your classic ridley scott film. give me gladiator anyday.

at least it felt like a robin hood movie. plus you can't beat michael wincott and alan... rickman as evil baddies.

^^^ I feel the same way. I wasn't a BAD movie, but just didn't do anything extraordinary. It just seemed to lumber along.

To Die For (Kidman/ Phoenix) ... 1/10.
I am unsure what possessed me to watch this snoozer ... it is the story of an appalling narcissistic, phony, driven, yet untalented, news reportrix (Kidman) and her relationships with three disgusting teenage losers (Phoenix, Casey Affleck and a pudgy girl who doesn't wash her hair). They eventually kill her husband ... not really sure why. The story was told as if it were a documentary about the murder plot. Blech.
It plays like a badly-acted Lifetime movie. A grotesque, train-wreck of a movie. It was so bad it was almost mezmerizing -- sort of like a Maury Povich episode ... you almost want to watch just to see if it can get any more appalling. When the most endearing and relatable character is Newman (from Seinfeld) something has taken a wrong turn.
Black Hawk Down ... 10/10. I had to renew my will to live after the "To Die For" crapfest.
