Deadwood Season 1: 10/10 What an amazing show! It was the first time I saw it and I loved it from the first episode! I'm definitely getting myself the complete boxset!

Jonah Hex- 3/10 Megan Fox gets the 3 points alone

Shutter Island- 8/10 Leo did an incredible job.

Oh and if some of you are wondering why I went to the theater and saw Jonah Hex it's because of this....I went to see the A-Team and they told me it was a screening with subtitles....so I didn't want to sit through a subtitled movie screen so I chose Jonah Hex. Bad move.

Eclipse - 6/10. Saw a midnight screening of Eclipse (don't make fun of me, it was my girlfriend's 12 year old daughter's birthday and I got stuck with chaperone duties). I'd have to say it was the best of the three movies...but that's not saying much. I didn't know that David Slade directed this until I saw it last night, and I think that was a good move to give the movie some semblance of horror instead of being a teen angst film.

All the incessant whiing from the Bella and Jakob character was so annoying.

Seraphim Falls: 7.5/10 Good western about vengeance and the place it eventually leads you to!

What's Eating Gilbert Grape: 8.5/10 Never saw this film before. I loved it, the story was great, fun and sad. The acting was superb, especially by DiCaprio!!!

Eclipse 4/10 - Too damn slow, too many grown women screaming over a 16 year old boy (Isn't that being a pedophile?). And it just was not that good. The acting was forced throughout and the special effects sucked!

If it wasn't for my daughter having her 12th birthday party for the midnight premiere, I would never have bothered.

This is how I'd summarize the second movie. My GF enjoys the movies so I have to go see the movies with her for some reason.

~~I watched the Crazies last night. Enjoyed it as much as when I saw it in the theaters. Nice spin on the Zombie/outbreak type of movie.

I completely understand. I am certain that no self-respecting, heterosexual male would be caught dead at one of these movies without some type of family reasoning. This is a clinic in how far a great man will go for his family.
