Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Shutter Island - 8/10 Thought it was good, but a little predictable...i pretty much figured it out before it even really got going. Overall though good movie.

I agree with this one. Very predictable, but well done.

I think it you look at the extra's you can see how the writer wanted to make it so. Dropping subtle hints throughout the movie.

Question:

So, I think at the end, he was cured but faked it as he had no desire to go on. Am I reading too much into his look over at the doctor and his last statement to the shrink ?

Thats the way I read it and thats my preferred ending. Just the line about the person we choose to be makes me think that.

Iron Man 2 - 8/10 - I finally got to watch this movie in just about the last auditorium showing it in my area. What an awesome movie! Exactly what I hoped and expected for the sequel.

I can't wait for the next Avengers-based movie!

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Yep, Toy Story 3 kicked ass. The scene where they take each other's hands was one of the best dramatic moments I've seen in ages. Like the scene in Ratatouille when Ego flashes back to his childhood as he tastes the food, or the silent first 10 minutes of Up, Pixar is able to capture the finest dramatic moods with simple elegance.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Hancock -- 5/10. First half was entertaining enough. Second half was a mess. Reasonably good concept, terrible execution.

Traitor -- 8.5/10. Didn't see all of it ... but the segment I saw were really good. Cheadle is a deep cover spy in a terrorist organization, and is being pursued by the FBI.

Memento -- 9/10. Inventive and well done.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I was bawling when Andy was talking to Bonnie about his toys.

Geez I'm getting misty-eyed just thinking about it!:monkey2

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I thought the moment Andy's mom realized he was really leaving was a great one too - all parent's can identify with that.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

BTW, another great Toy Story 3 moment...

when they are about to die in the flames, they are saved by a true Deus Ex Machina, and by using "the claw", it really is a "god in the machine"! Brilliant stuff.

I didn't think they could surpass the emotion of UP, but the incinerator scene and Andy playing with Bonnie somehow did. :) :hi5:

Pandorum....8/10. Not a bad movie, but I was half asleep and not entirely sure WTF happened at the end. Going to have to re-watch to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I need to watch that one again to, but I loved it, awesome Sci-Fi "sleeper" movie.

Just watched Cherry 2000, 80's B-Movie Sci-Fi type, dont know why I like it but I do. 8/10

Transformers: 9/10 Awesome and entertaining film! Storywise maybe a little flawed, but it definitely makes up for it in visual awesomeness!!! :rock :rock :rock

LMAO awesome signature dude! I along with the whole theater laughed my ass off when he did that. :rotfl

Oddly, I happened to be listening to that song when I stumbled upon your signature :yess:
