I loved that movie as well, but damn did I hate billy Mitchell. Here's a little update according to Wikipedia.

Yeah, I saw that as well.

Mitchell was a total ******. I love how they added his little spheel about needing to perform LIVE to make it real... especially after he mailed in the tape.

I think Vincent Cassel is a pretty cool actor!

I think he's a pretty HOT actor! I first saw him in Brotherhood of the Wolf. He was awesome.

I love Brotherhood Of The Wolf! I haven't seen it in quite some time... It's a great mystery/horror/thriller in a very cool setting!!! Plus Monica Belluci is in it!
Might watch that again soon!

The Sorcerer's Apprentice [2010] - 6/10
- Another so-so movie by Nicholas Cage
- The sorcery feel of the movie was ruined by two (2) love stories embedded within the movie
- Could have done better if the movie was longer; it felt rushed

At least I got to see Monica Belucci again! Yummy!

Hard Candy: 6/10 A very disturbing film that was hard to rate IMO... The two main characters were both very unsympathetic and impossible to relate to. I hated Ellen Page's character, more than Patrick Wilson's character who basically was the easiest to hate.
The acting was good though, especially in creating these hate feelings for the characters. One thing that I didn't like was the fact that:

There is no motivation given for the actions of Ellen Page's character, nor any relation to the kidnap-victim and how she got on Wilson's trail.

Ghost Rider: 9/10

I loved this movie when it first came out, I was a bit obsessed.

I watched some clips of the movie on youtube a while ago and thought it was cheesey and I had outgrown it, but over the weekend I watched it and critiqued it using a rubric as a homework assignment for my advanced drama class, and I ended up really loving it again.

Sure, there was a bit of cheese in a few spots, but honestly you can't look at it that way because that's what the ghost rider character is. After watching the movie as a whole, the first transformation scene went from cheesey to epic.

The final fight could have been a bit better, but honestly I love the flaming skulls, the story, the western aspect, and Nicolas Cage was great.

Many will disagree with me I'm sure, but I loved this movie and I'm pumped for the sequel now.
