Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

It was an awesome movie, excellent cast too. Aside from the obvious (DeNiro) i'm also a fan of Kenneth Branagh.

It was the first time I was blown away by DeNiro. I mean, the guy always does amazing. But I honestly expected very little out of this role. And he took it to a level that I never expected. The scenes in the cabin, the scene where he explaines what he did to little Willy are the highlights for me.

And the scene where he and Elizebeth meet.....wow. You know, I knew he'd probably kill her....but WOW. That was a huge WOAH moment for me. Great use of violence. :thud:

Kenneth was great too. He's a fantastic director as well.

The Mist - 9/10

Loved this one a lot myself, especially all the Lovecraftian monsters and "things". Plus the ending, as gut-wrenching as it is, is perfect.

Munic 7.5/10

Probably closer to an 8. Spielberg is great when he isn't doing crap like WotW. The acting in this really something to beheld in Munic and there was a lot of good tension build up as well. Sort of just ends on a downnote though, or maybe I just wanted it keep going.

Wha?!?!?! Only a 6/10 for the first Chucky :horror: The first Child's Play is still one of my fave horror films!

Some of my favorite films are some of the dumbest films. If you really like something it doesn't necessarily merit a high ranking. It is what it is regardless if I love it or not.

Hatchet II 7/10

A good tribute film to the 80's slasher movies. Definetly didnt take itself seriously, lots of blood and funny kills. It was fun

The Social Network 8.5/10

Very good movie regardless of how old you are or how familiar you are with Facebook.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand Season 1 10/10

Awesome Show... :rock:rock:rock

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Clash of the Titans (original) 7/10 I hadn't seen this movie in ages. I didn't realize just how outdated much of the effects in this movie were even for it's time (1981). Still there's something special and creepy about stop motion Cerberus and Medusa and this was still a fun watch if only for nostalgia's sake.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps: 7/10 An enjoyable film, but nowhere near as good as the first one. There were some cool moments, the best definitely being:

Charlie Sheen's cameo

But overall the film wasn't as exciting as the first, and all the tricks played by the characters didn't have the same feeling of awesomeness that the ones in the first film had.
Like I said, enjoyable... but also forgetable...

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Death at a Funeral - 6/10 - Yup, one of those movies where most of the jokes are in the trailer. A few still made me laugh. Worth a cheap rental.

Case 39 - 4/10 - Didn't want to see it but the wife did. By-the-book evil child movie. Terrible CGI hornets.

This is the remake with Chris Rock right? I saw the original British version and thought it was funny.
