Iron Man 2: 3.5/5

Not as good as the first, but still okay.

This is what I rate it. The first one had a much better story, but 2 seemed to be more of a demo reel for the effects team. I love all of the new stuff introduced in this movie, but there just doesn't seem to be fun in it like the first one has.

The fanboy in me wanted to rate IM2 above the first because of all the the cool new characters and explosions but the 1st def was just perfect and can't be touched.

The ANOES Remake is one of the worst things ever made by a human. Next too Attack of the Clones.

And I feel really generous about that. Thought the writing was just terrible, lame villain too. Didn't live up the original at all and carried the overall story maybe an inch further.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 6.5/10

By far my second favorite in the franchise. It doesn't try to be Raiders all over again it goes in a completely darker direction which separates it from the pack. Too much for some I guess but I like I it.

Temple rocks, far better then LC imo. But that IM2 score...

4/10 is like what I would give Spiderman 3.

SM3 was utter garbage. It's like that third X-Men movie that was so terrible they had to start making prequels just to keep the franchise going.

Wanted to love IM2 as much as the first, especially with Cheadle as War Machine, but I just couldn't give my heart to this one. The acting was good, great in some cases, the effects were awesome, but the writing just had me wanting more story. Black Widow was just kind of there, which was unfortunate though I wouldn't have wanted her to take precident. The drinking bit was a nice nod to the classics but the reason for it was redundant. Reinventing the power supply was an unneccessary subplot. Such a cliche sequel move to try and retell/reinvent something that was a big part of the original.
