I just recently saw AVP Requiem movie and thought it was an ok movie. But it was way too dark to see any of the Aliens or Predator creatures. I know they wanted to make it a dark movie to hide the creatures and make it scary but whats the point of putting in all those awesome details in the sculpture if you can't see them. I then watched the making of it and you see these artists sculpting and painting beautiful detail on the Alien/Predalien/Predator and you can't see any of that in the movie, what a shame. I give it a 5/10.

I can't believe the studio actually released it in that condition. It was a black screen with dialogue.

Hannibal Rising 7/10. An ok movie but really didn't feel like a Hannibal movie to me an it's not just because of Sir. Hopkins absence either. Still it was a fair movie.

The Wrestler - 8/10 - pretty good film about life of a past his prime wrestler. Great performance by Mickey.

Pinnochio...JAW DROPPING ON BLU. Amazing PQ and AQ. Disney just keeps kicking ass with these restorations of their classics on Blu-ray...can't wait for Beauty and the Beast someday! 10/10.

Has anyone seen Funny Games? is it as disturbing as I've heard? and which is better the 1997 or the 2007 release?

The 2007 is a shot for shot remake from the same director. The actors are the only thing that changed. I preferred the 97 version, partly because it was the first one I saw and the German language just seemed to work better. It's definitely not a movie made for American audiences and I think you need to know what you're about to watch before you actually watch it. Don't expect your typical torture thriller. This one is more of a send up on the theme of violence. Having said all that, it's still just an average movie. Nothing great.

story was a tad long winded (aparently like the novel)
didnt believe or invest in a lot of the characters

It was . . . . different, a break from the norm

but not what Id hoped . . a 9 or a 10

no dvd,i bought a few years back but havent watched it since i got it.Allthough i loved this movie as a kid,its always nice to watch these old movies again,makes me feel like a kid again

that's cool man!! that was one of my favorites when i was younger as well. man do i miss the 80s and early 90s.

Last House on the Left.....7/10 very awesome movie. you just couldn't help but cheer for the good guys at the end!!!!
