The Strangers. Ehh, I'd give it a 3/10. Kind of a pointless horror movie. I like it when movies delve into their killers' psychological profiles so we start to understand what makes them tick. This was not that type of movie.

Halloween (Remake) 5/10 found it so boring...

I agree there. It's like you want to like it because its Myers but its so hard to get into it.
It doesn't get anywhere close to the original or any of the sequels really imo.
It doesn't have the right atmosphere.
Even H20 felt like Myers to me. At least alot more than the new one anyway.

Then again I guess with it being a complete reboot it doesn't have to have the same atmosphere.... but it should since thats what made the older movies so special.

I hadn't seen it since it was in the theaters. The performances are strong, the story not so much. And I always love how Anderson's movies look.

Coulda been a bit more backstory about Eli. Maybe just a little more creep factor too. But a damned fine movie overall.
